Although a little difficult to find the entrance as there is only a sign on the door, it was great. Everything seemed new , modern and more like a condo than hotel. Short walk to the Old Port area and many restaurants.

So lovely to be in a space big enough for four that felt more like “home” than hotel. Great location in Old Port. Friendly, responsive staff. Comfy beds. Amazing high ceilings and aesthetically minimalist. Looking forward to another stay.

The apartment itself was lovely but unfortunately when I showered in the morning it became clear from the alarming abundance of body hair in the shower that it had not been (even sort of) cleaned. That’s a serious choice to make when people are paying just shy of $400 a night.

This accommodation is absolutely stunning in every way. A full apartment with the most tasteful furnishings and decor. Kitchen is well equipped and bathroom is luxurious. Highly recommend. However, the elevator didn't work for one whole day and we were on the 5th floor, so not great. Felt that we should have been compensated somehow for the inconvenience.

The Docent Collection-Boyd Block was a wonderful stay! VERY clean and luxurious, we had everything we needed and more. The staff was very professional and helpful. Check in was the most efficient ever. I absolutely loved everything about Boyd Block, we were in walking distance to so many places. This was a 10/10 stay!

This was an outstanding stay. Good communication from staff along with helpful recommendations for food and activities. The lofts are nestled in between shops and a bank across the street from a park, so keep an eye out for the signage. We walked and biked around Portland and this was a great middle ground. The loft is spacious, clean and safe. It has a fully stocked kitchen, toiletries in the bathroom, cleaning supplies and umbrella (we used it). We stayed in room 204 (one bedroom) that overlooked a restaurant patio and on a clear day had a very partial view of the bay (parking garage obstructed). Definitely one of our favorite stays. The *only* thing of note is the windows do not open to enjoy the nice summer breeze. Highly recommend.

Immaculately clean, stunning interior, and perfect location were the first things I noticed about Docent’s Choice. Being half a Luddite the app for phone and figuring out how to turn the lights off and on involved me needing assistance. Not only did the staff help me, they didn’t even laugh at me or call me a “Boomer”. Great customer service! Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Docent’s Choice. Everything was perfect!
