The reception person allowed us to check in early as the room was ready and we wanted to wander down town without our bags. The room is clean and comfortable, exactly as in the picture. Clean sheets, clean towels and comfortable beds. What more could you ask for

The floors were dirty in the bathroom. Bed sheets had what appeared to be stains! Not sure the bedding/ linen was clean. Smelled like mold and so did I and my clothing! People smoking at entrance from the back resturant made me nauseated.and it followed you into the building. Very run down and old!

While a little outdated, this was very affordable and within 10 to 15 minutes of what we wanted to see and do in Portland. There is an outside pool, and a light breakfast. You need to ask for housekeeping if you want it, but the bed was comfortable after exploring and walking all day it was fine. Probably the most reasonable place to stay.

The pool was great and very clean. The breakfast was cold items only, cereal, yogurt etc. The smell throughout the hallways and room was really strong and musty. Had to turn on the refrigerator in order for it to start up. Our room key cards periodically would not work.

The staff was nice, the room was basically clean and frankly the beds were quite good. But a bad smell permeated the entire building and a drug deal or maybe prostitution occurred in the parking lot behind our room where the car was parked. Not as nice a place as pictures and description imply.
