The hotel is in a very neat area with lots of dining options a short walk away. Parking is extremely limited. Rooms in the front part of the hotel are extremely dated and small. We were able to book a room in the garden area which has been remodeled recently and looks much nicer and has air conditioning. Definitely would go back if I could guarantee one of the nicer rooms.

Very good basic hotel

Basic hotel with what we (2 adults and one child) required for two nights before we got the ferry back to England. Amazing location to hang out in Port en Bessin and to visit the Normandy beaches, Bayeux and more.

Good position good parking accommodation basic . Tea making facilities but no milk..English people have milk in their tea and coffee. Shower has no curtain so floor gets wet and the toilet seat was broken

Besides de parking spots sometimes are hard to find, its a very nice place and area to be and stay. I saw some comments talking bad about the hotel.. Nothing to say :) Ill for sure stay here if i comeback

Far exceeded our expectations

We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. As it is a 2 star we expected very little but received far more. It was exceptionally clean, the room was very clean and spacious, staff were very friendly and the location was perfect.

Basic Hotel in the heart of Port-en-Bessin

This is a very basic place to stay but it was fine for two nights, and clean. It’s close to the beautiful little downtown and the walk along the harbor and in the middle of all the Normandie sites. There is no elevator which could be an issue for some visitors and also there are only two or three parking spots at the actual hotel, if those are taken you have to find one somewhere else in town - which are free but it could be a walk away.

I was drawn to this hotel because of its connection to General Eisenhower, but what I found was a hotel in great need of an overhaul. The location is fine, the neighborhood is fine, and there are some nearby restaurants and attractions that are fine. But, the hotel has seen better days.

Situated in the center close to the beach shops and restaurants are close by. With the 5 or 6 parking spots on the compound we are lucky there is free parking in the village. The booked two seperate beds room was not available but arranged with a folding bed in the not that spacious room. Overall the accommodation was clean and comfortable with a descent breakfast.

Difficult to locate-no sign!

This hotel was very difficult to find because they have NO SIGN! Very basic accommodation. This facility has two buildings which meant climbing two flights of steps and then two more flights. Not ideal for luggage.
