Junior suit is smaller than website description

The room is not what the website described! I booked a Junior Suit for 4 nights and on the website it mentioned that the room is over 400 sq ft with a double bed and a sofa bed. However, when we checked in such room is around 300 sq ft and there were only two single beds. I immediately requested to change the room as not only the room size but also the beds are not enough for my family. However, the staff refused and claimed all the rooms are occupied. She just promised to ask her colleague to follow up on my request on the second day. On the second day, the staff said it's not possible for changing my room but agreed to change the bed into a double bed and add an additional bed for me. However, in the end, what I got was a trolley bed and a "double bed" that they just used double bed beddings to cover the two single beds and make it into a double bed. I took a photo of the room when I checked in at the first instance for reference.

The breakfast server did not guide us and forgot to give us the eggs. The hair drier in the room needs to be replaced, very old and almost on fire.

在車站正對面

此飯店就在出Colmar 火車站的左前方路口，對自由行的旅客而言非常方便，從飯店歩行到著名的景點小威尼斯只要十分鐘左右，到老城區也只要十五分鐘左右的路程，如果要租車，租車公司不在市區而是在城北的機場附近, 可以請飯店幫忙叫計程車，車資為15歐元。飯店人員都會說英語，態度親切。飯店附近沒有餐廳，要在市區用餐，這次飯店有提供早餐半價7-8歐元很划算，比自己在外面買麵包加咖啡還便宜。

A very nice 4-Star Hotel opposite to the station

Right opposite to the train station. Very close to the bus station too (1min walk). 15min to the old town which is a must to go. The room is very spacious. The double bed is very comfortable. You have basically everything u can expect from a 4-star hotel in the room. There is also a small balcony despite the fact that the view was not very nice. The wifi was good but it was quite annoying that most of the electric plugs next to the bed were not working. I was also surprised that a staff entered my room in the morning(ard 10am)while I was sleeping. Overall my stay in this hotel was very satisfying because the room was well-equipped, very spacious and in excellent conditions.

This is a fantastic hotel if you are visiting Colmar and want a 2 min walk to the train station. It’s a less than 10 min walk to little Venice and other landmarks are close by after wondering through the beautiful village of Colmar. I also wanted to send a “thank you” to the front desk and “Paul” especially he went above and beyond for us last night to help dry our clothes that didn’t quite air dry in our room. I was blown away by his kindness. He came up to our room took our clean damp clothes in a bag had them dried, even folded them and brought them back up to our room a hour later. What a wonderful employee Paul @ the Grand Hotel Bristol in Colmar is!! Thank you and we hope to come via again sometime in the future.

The train station is across the street, and the city itself is a quick and easy walk. The hotel is in great condition, but still has old world charm and gives off historical vibes. Plus the staff is great!

I stayed at Grand Hôtel Bristol for one night and had a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable — just steps from the Colmar train station, which was so convenient after a long day of travel. The lobby had a warm, charming feel, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful, especially at reception. My room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, even though the building itself is older, which actually adds character. The room didn’t have a view (it faced the back buildings), but I didn’t mind because it was quiet and relaxing. It’s about a 20–25 minute walk to the Old Town, but I really enjoyed the walk — Colmar is a beautiful city. Highly recommend this hotel for both convenience and comfort.

Generally the property is very good. We did have a few issues with the room although they were addressed immediately. The restaurant is OK, very crowded with tourist groups. I’d skip the morning breakfast, there are many cafes nearby with better offerings.
