Fantastic family friendly, spacious cottages.

We ABSOLUTELY loved our stay at Pomonal Cottages Grampians. The cottages are spacious and well equipped, the pool and recreation area is great, we enjoyed our wood burning stove each night. They had a big library of DVDs for family movie night. I had to do some work and the WiFi is excellent (recently upgraded and a repeater on each cottage I was told). The couple that run the place are super sweet and friendly. Overall big thumbs up from us and we’d come back in a heartbeat

Great base to explore Grampians

Stayed for 5 days over Christmas - 4 of us in total (couple and parents-in-law). Cottage was a great base for exploring the area, and nice and comfortable. Very quiet for relaxing and sleeping, and plenty of kangaroos and birds visiting the property. Simple but decently equipped, we were able to make a Christmas dinner in the kitchenette. Friendly and communicative management, no issue with us arriving a bit late. Would definitely recommend and consider coming back if we visit the Grampians again.

Peace in the Grampians

Great location, front door to the Grampians National Park, wake up to a mob of kangaroo outside your window in the morning and amazing sunset over the Grampians. Stroll to barneys bar/restaurant out the front if you choose not to cook in your cottage

delightful people who run this accommodation .fabulous for couples or great for kids . very informative about the area ,and defiantly go to Barneys pub at the end of the driveway a real country pub that has an amazing Nepalese curry.

Great location near walks and general store. Lovely outlook over paddocks and kangaroos. Plenty of room for us, good beds (including fold out couch- very comfortable) and linen. Good kitchen with everything we needed. And very helpful hosts.

It was very peaceful and quiet. Nice surroundings with the birds and kangaroos. Accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. Only thing was the bed was the most comfortable we didn't have the best night sleep. But other than that is ess quite pleasant.

Nice Vintage Cottage surround with Nature

We loved the place the most among all staying during our Melbourne trip, surround with nature & kangaroo, we can even see kangaroo from our living & bedroom window, my son was super excited & happy. We were too busy to plan the trip ahead, friendly owner gave us comprehensive information that made our plan much easier. The cottage is nice Vintage design, Grampians has minimal eateries choice, a decent kitchen is good for us to prepare simple meals, only problem is the kitchen is equipped with only stainless steel pan /pot which is quite hard to use, could be most travelers do not know how to use non-stick pan, there's a non-stick pan full with scratches that we did not use. Overall is nice, suitable for family, although they didn't provide cot that highlighted but the bed is low which good for kids below 4.

Great little country escape

This place is fantastic, super clean and tidy and the hosts David and Jenni were really friendly, wonderfully informative and even helped us jump start our car when the battery had died overnight. We spend a few days and the location was really central for getting around everything that the Grampians had to offer Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great cottages and very peaceful surroundings. Very close to the Grampians and the zoo. The kids loved waking up and seeing the kangaroos in the morning!

We had a great stay at Pomona Cottages for the 5 nights around New Year's Eve. Our cottage was clean, comfortable, functional and flexible as we needed to accommodate extended as well as immediate family. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and communicated well both before and during our stay. We appreciated having the lawn area outside for frisbee, cricket and soccer, and the kids made use of the pool and recreation area (which included a selection of DVDs and books, and table tennis.) The bbq area was well appointed too. We liked being in a quieter spot than the bumper to bumper camping sites at Halls Gap, yet it was only a short drive to get there for shopping, or to many of the lovely walks. We would certainly recommend this spot to family and friends.
