"We loved our stay @ this rental. It fit our needs as a family of 5 and was comfortable with all of the amenities. There were only a couple things we needed to get used to was the fact that being in the wilderness meant the area had a lot of bugs - inside and out. There were also no fans (except ceiling fans in the 3 bedrooms) to use since there was no AC, but with the windows open, it was a bit cooler. "Lake Tahoe is absolutely a beautiful! Alpine Gem Is a great location in a quiet neighborhood. Only down side for us is there is a pet that lives in the home even though the rental is not pet friendly. We are allergic and that was a bummer. Hot tub was a bonus!! Maybe add some small solar lights. "

"Mule Meadows was a fantastic place to stay! Very clean, outstanding views, great amenities, and just an overall great place to stay. The neighborhood is nice and close enough to the main road for quick trips into the city while being far enough for a quiet, calm time outside."

"The home was clean, although it showed its age. It accomodated our group of three families wonderfully. We really enjoyed spending time on the back deck, but it would have been nice to have outdoor furniture available and the deck seems to be in need of replacing (loose railing, deteriorating boards). Overall, we loved our stay. It is a great location and has enough space for big groups to come together and spend quality time."
