"We had a great time and a positive experience in general. The location of the hotel is perfect - close to the beach and the main strip. At the same time it's in the quiet more family-oriented part of the resort and it was quiet at night. The food was quite nice as well and there were beer, drinks and ice-cream/snacks throughout the day. The negatives - this is not a 4 star hotel. It looks and feels more like a 3* hotel. On the balcony there were rust spots and bird poo which was not cleaned....

"I loved Continental Hotel, everything was just right. Nice, clean and spacious room with air-conditioning. All stuff in the hotel are friendly and really helpful. Foid is good, not huge choice, but everything was high quality, fresh and tasty, goid quality alcohol and cocktails. "Lovey hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good choice of pools, although the indoor one was closed during our stay. The sea is not too far of a walk. The gym is non existent however which was disappointing. The spa has a good selection of equipment and treatments. Overall, Golden Sands looked unkept with rubbish everywhere, despite regular rubbish collections. Also, a lot of the pavements were uneven and with damaged tiles which made walking to and from the beach difficult. It’s a shame really."
