"My son and I were traveling on a rare (special) road trip together. We were so looking forward to staying at this place on the Outer Banks. My son is a big surfer and hoped to enjoy the upcoming swell. We made the arrangements as per the "special instructions" we received on confirmation. "Seems strange but the property was all but empty, off season, yet the room above us was booked with noisy guests and we were put in a room with a parking lot view when better views were available. Upgrading rooms…good thing but was not a bother to us. Some upgrades were done in our condo which were very nice!"
