"Wonderful stay! Our bungalow was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. We really appreciated the daily cleaning, which made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with generous portions. The staff were friendly and very responsive to any questions or inquiries we had. Overall, a lovely, hidden gem, and we would happily stay at SoulShine again!"

The property is absolutely stunning, and the photos don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful it is in real life. The home is perfect for couples, small families, or larger families looking for a private, peaceful retreat surrounded by nature while still being just a 3-minute walk from the beach and great restaurants. It truly offers the best of both worlds. The hosts were exceptional in every way. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, accommodated every request with genuine kindness, and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Their hospitality was simply outstanding. Every morning we looked forward to the delicious, fresh breakfast, and we spent many relaxing hours enjoying the gorgeous pool. One of the highlights of our trip was that our kids took surfing lessons with the owner—they absolutely loved the experience and are already talking about coming back! We traveled with our 17-, 20-, and 24-year-old children, and every single one of us had an amazing time. It’s rare to find a place that everyone in the family enjoys, but this property exceeded all of our expectations. If you’re looking for a beautiful private home with every amenity, incredible hosts, easy access to the beach, and an unforgettable experience, look no further. We can’t recommend this p"

"We had an excellent time at the Mikado. It was our first time to Costa Rica and it was probably one of our best holidays. Such a fun adventure. Lolo was an excellent host and if you do stay you must take advantage of her dinners. Incredibly romantic. The location is perfect. Quick drives to Tamarindo, Playa Avellanas and Playa Conchal. Great places to explore and then return to the peace and tranquility of the lodge. Absolutely perfect. "
