Fantastic place !

A fantastic place to stay with family, very friendly and helpful staff (recommendations, restaurants..). We stayed 5 nights and have been upgraded to a house with private pool, new and high standard. Very nice pools and amenities. Location is greatly to visit this side of Crete; not far from beautiful beaches. Strongly recommend it!

Nice little hotel with wonderful location and splendid villas. We had the Villa on top with breathtaking views from the pool. Breakfast at hotel is nice and varying, and the small restaurant you pass to get from the villa to the hotel is also really good. The hotel is about an hour drive from the prized beaches in western Crete. Highly recommended

We were looking for the privacy of a vila with the amenities of a resort - and found the perfect place at Spilia! We had a private, 3 bedroom beautiful vila, with a great private pool. We added half board to the reservation - breakfast and dinner, and WOW, the food was AMAZING! We could not wait to get back to the village to eat dinner at the resort. The staff was amazing, EVERYBODY was extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. We would be back, hopefully soon. We are in LOVE with Spilia & THANK YOU for making our vacation a memorable one ❤️🙏

A slice of Heaven

Our room was amazing (not sure which category it was because there had been a bit of a mix up so we were upgraded) but if I'd have known how great it was, I would definitely have splashed out to stay in it. It was a two bedroom suite, one bedroom was huge with a gorgeous four poster and the other a single bed in a small room. There was a lift from the pool area that opened directly into the suite which is a first for us and a real wow factor (but you have to remember to lock your door or you may have surprise guests - although I'm sure the French couple were equally surprised to be delivered into our suite complete with a naked husband who'd just got out of the shower 😀). The small room was too warm as the aircon didn't reach there so my daughter slept on the chaise longe in the main room instead and said it was really comfy. The balcony was large and had a lovely view of the village. The pool area was gorgeous and very relaxed with huge comfy mattresses on the sunbeds.  The landscaping was incredible with many fruit trees and colourful flowers. We ate in the restaurant and both the food and the service was exceptional. Breakfast was also excellent. Over our stay, we went to Balos and Elefonisi beach  which I found both overrated, I would have rather spent the time around the hotel pool. We had lovely few days and I would defintitely return for longer (and pay the extra supplement for this room).

Lovely place lovely people. If you want to get away from the mob this is the place. Beautiful setting. Lovely food. Reception were very helpful as were all the staff. Only negatives I have are the Villas are up a big hill so have a car or be fit. Also the pool at the villa wasn’t ready (on and cleaned) on the Saturday we arrived, wasn’t sorted until we said something on the Monday. But was sorted very quickly.

Great stay but poor food!

Great stay but poor Food. We stayd for 3 nights and it is a beautiful small hotel with great rooms. Unfortunately the restaurant food was really bad but luckily it is two great restaurants 1 min walk away. Would recommend to stay but skip the restaurant.

Endroit très calme et vraiment très sympathique, chaleureux et reposant. Le personnel est vraiment très bien, tres souriant et super chaleureux, prêt a toujours trouver une solution pour aider. (Problème WIFI et coffre-fort). Concernant le nettoyage, le personnel est super gentil, mais il devrait revoir un peu le nettoyage des chambres. (Nettoyage du sol; sent plus la javel que c'est propre. On dirait que seulement un seau d'eau est utilisé pour tout l'etablisement.) Par contre, l'extérieur est vraiment très propre, chaleureux et bien entretenu. Le seul petit hic est le suivant : les murs de notre suite aurait mérité un petit rafraîchissement. (Petits travaux de réparation et peinture). Sinon nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et de découvrir ce petit mais très joli endroit et d'avoir rencontré de formidables personnes des lieux.

Fantastisk flott plass. Vi hadde leiebil og kom oss litt rundt. Deilig og rolig område. Vi så at noen hadde skrevet at maten ikke var så god. Vi prøvde maten og den var like bra som mange andre steder. Her kan du virkelig slappe av.
