Maya Beach Hotel
Unfortunately the seaweed was covering the beach and smell could be overwhelming at times. Not their fault. We did get upgraded to a very nice cabana. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has good food and reasonable prices.

Placencia Resort
The room chosen was listed as having 4 beds with a capacity for 8persons, however upon check in they told us the listing was inaccurate and there was only 3 beds for a capacity of 6.
