"My partner and I stayed here for a 2 night break.. Front of house staff couldn't have been more accommodating..We even had a free upgrade to a sea view room..The only negative was that the room was out the front and there was a busy main road, which boy racers used as a racing strip.. We would definitely stay here again but we would choose a room out the back.. The breakfast here was outstanding.. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.."

"The parking area was small, but did manage to find a space. Great for location. Near to the beach and bars/restaurants. Hotel lovely and clean. Very nice staff. Beds absolutely fabulous! So comfortable. Shower disappointing. Just a shower tray and slow flow water. Did the job though. Lovely breakfast. Would stay again. Thanks."

"The owner still let me in even though I was right near the wire on the end of check in time on the hotels.com website, and almost an hour past their own check in time. Extensive leaflets on things to do in Paignton but the owner also have advice. Very personal service, owner took me up to my room and showed me all the amenities and how to operate them. The room was very clean other than a few dusty bunnies and a mark on the duvet cover. The bed was firm albeit, the pillows could do with being fluffier. The room has a fridge, TV, coffee and tea facilities, wardrobe, drawers and bedside cabinets and overhead fan. No smell of damp in the bathroom which was swanky with a large shower cubicle, cotton buds and balls. Over the road is a place that does live music and food and another that does street golf and food. 2 minutes down the road is the beach and an adventure playground. You are also only 5mins from the town centre."

"Such a comfortable and friendly hotel with excellent service from the proprietors. Breakfast was perfectly cooked to order in a well laid out dining room. Our room was small but very comfortable and clean with tv and tea & coffee facilities, The en-suite shower room was clean with all facilities required including complimentary shampoos, soaps and shower gels and the shower was a pleasure to use, one of the best showers we have experienced in hotels. The hotels wifi was very good with a strong signal. I particularly liked the nice touch of an honesty shop in the dining room/small shop and the supply of free books to read and children's beach toys. We were made to feel very welcome and will happily recommend this hotel to friends and family. This hotel is ideally situated being close to the beach with a very good selection and variety of restaurants within walking distance. The pier is free with the usual stalls and amusements plus a dinosaur crazy golf at the end. The beach is long and sandy. There is a trackless train that runs along the coast, a fair, a children's park and other family facilities. The only downside is parking near the hotel. We went out of season but still had to park two roads away on one occasion so it could be a problem during high season."
