「I recommend the Dutch Heritage Colombo Hotel. It boasts an excellent location, situated just a ten-minute walk from the train station. The surrounding area is rich in historical and cultural landmarks, and—if you enjoy photography—it also offers a vibrant, authentic local atmosphere. The hotel features comprehensive amenities, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. Furthermore, they allowed me to store my luggage, which made it easy for me to travel to other cities. 「Beautiful colonial plantation in quite remote location. Wonderful views, breakfast on the veranda watched by leaping monkeys. Food good quality, very pleasant service. Nice swimming pool with amazing views. Very large attractive rooms. Comfy bed. We would recommend.」

「The staff need to be re-trained. House keeping was inconsistent - four towels, then two. Six waters, then none. Laundry had to be chased. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were appalling. Cutting in front all the time when walking, standing in groups talking whilst we were trying to open doors. Being told to move tables! Unhelpful at best. This is not a five star experience. Not even close.」

「Beautiful hotel, very centrally located and right next to the ocean. Our room was nice and spacious and clean. Staff and management were very nice and helpful all around. Eg 1: I had hurt my ankle the previous day, and over our 2 day stay, they assisted my wife in getting ice for my leg. Eg 2: We also needed a screwdriver to remove the battery from a toy we bought (for plane travel), and the staff went out of their way to help out with it (laughing at us). The breakfast and dinner buffet...

「Its a sound enough hotel for the business traveler but otherwise pretty ordinary. It's in a shabby part of town with no local ameities or attractions worth the bother. The bar is dismal and the restaurant poor. The staff do a good job of making the best of the little they have to wotk with.」

「景色も良くて、ママ含めてスタッフもとても気持ちが良くて、センスのあるインテリアでとても良かった。唯一残念だったのは、ドライヤーが常備されていない事と、バスルームの床が滑りすぎる事ぐらい」
