"This hotel was bad. Room smelled like raid, hot tub and pool was COLD, properly was dirty, breakfast was nasty, staff unfriendly. Definitely hard pass. If the room was not booked through a company account i would have left. "

"Unfortunately, I'm unable to give Margaritaville Lake Resort a 5-star review due to the poor treatment I received from their assistant manager Amanda after my stay was complete. She lacks the ability to resolve issues and effectively communicate with customers. My credit card was over charged $265 which she initially stated the funds would be released. The refund was never initiated from their end and once this was brought to her attention, she would no longer speak with me. I'm a part of a leadership staff as well and one rule we definitely abide by is owning customers issues start to finish. Amanda did not and in my opinion can use some additional training classes on customer service. This property is a gem, and I planned on returning prior to this incident however that has changed since I was handled with such disregard by Amanda. "
