"Before booking, I confirmed that the hotel offered complimentary luggage storage, which is also clearly advertised on both Expedia and their own website. I even called two weeks prior to my stay to verify this, as I had festival tickets and needed to store my bag before check-in. When I arrived around noon, I was told by the red-haired front desk agent that there was no space and "nothing she could do." There was even a room visible off to the side of the lobby, yet I was refused any accommodation.
Because the festival does not allow luggage, I was forced to forfeit my plans entirely. I lost about $200 in tickets and $50 on an Uber from the airport to the hotel. What was supposed to be a fun Sunday turned into a logistical nightmare. The only thing they offered was waiving the resort fee -- which does not come close to covering the financial loss or inconvenience caused.
I emailed management afterward asking, at the very least, for some dining credit to help offset the situation. They never responded until the day we had to leave and just offered late checkout.
Beyond that issue, there were several other problems:
* The lobby smells strongly of mold the moment you walk in. It's overpowering and gives a terrible first impression.
* We paid extra for a suite with a jacuzzi and it did not work.
* The outdoor chair cushions were old, worn, and uncomfortable.
* The listing shows bathrobes as part of the suite amenities -- there were none in the room.
