The property is beautiful and its location is perfect! Walking distance from monuments like Heroes Circle and the oldest Turkish bath in town. We were there for Formula 1 and the drive to Hungaroring was 20 minutes (without traffic)!
The front desk staff were also very helpful and booked all of our dinner reservations and taxi rides. I would stay here again and again!

This hotel was fantastic!! My flight was late getting in, and I didn't arrive until 1:30am. The agent at check-in was so lovely, and when I got to my room there were some sweets and bottled water with a nice note.
I did not have the breakfast, as I am not a huge eater. However, there is an Aldi up the street where I picked up yogurt & pastries, which I brought back to enjoy in Ikonic's excellent lounge. There's a coffee/tea station plus a water station! HUGE benefit during a heatwave.
My room on the 4th floor had large skylights, which provided privacy and plenty of natural light. The bed was extremely comfy & the AC was nice and cold.
This hotel is minutes away from Parlament and the Opera house on foot, and close to all the public transport stops.
My only critique is the shower. The doors were a bit wobbly and the shower caddy/tray needs fixing.
I'd definitely stay here again and will recommend to my friends.

The hotel was clean but somwhat dated the suite we had was good size but did not have a regular shower. The entrance to hotel was not easy to locate and was key card controlled. Difficult to get in. We also had a power outage the night and morning of our departure.

"Upon check in, I asked the receptionist if she had a nice room for me… she didn’t even reply… I checked in, there was hair all over the floor, the room obviously wasn’t vacuumed. The following morning at around 9am the cleaners were tapping loudly in the corridor, obviously a tactic to wake up travellers ..."
