Great Northern Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Clean rustic sort of place. No TV but the owners gave us complimentary bear spray and snacks for when we went hiking. It's an all wood sort of building with a nice view of the woods and a nice second floor deck. We enjoyed our stay there and would go back."
West Glacier Cabin Village
10/10 Excellent
"Clean, close to the park, and with the basic amenities. We enjoyed our stay greatly."
St. Mary Village
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the motel part of the village. The room was spacious and comfortable. All of our interactions with the staff were pleasant. It is a short and paved walk to the St Mary Glacier National Park visitor center. The only negative thing I can say is the exhaust fans in the bathrooms are on the noisy side.would definitely stay here again."
Glacier Guides Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great short stay. Highly recommend for anyone needing a family friendly stay close to the West entrance to Glacier. Very helpful and friendly staff."
Belton Chalet
10/10 Excellent
"They made every effort to make our stay comfortablle."
Silverwolf Log Chalet Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Donna was incredible. She checked us in and made sure we had everything we needed. I would come back in heartbeat."
Under Canvas Glacier
8/10 Good
"Awesome experience. The shower water was too hot."
Paddle Ridge
10/10 Excellent
"Paddle Ridge is an excellent place to stay only minutes from Glacier NP. With a cabin that could easily sleep 5 people it is a great value. If they could just install a couple of Adirondack chairs in front of cabin, they would have it all!!"
Many Glacier Hotel - Inside the Park
8/10 Good
"Stayed here for 2 nights in July with family. Positives: Gorgeous setting. Swiss-like esthetics. Loved that you could walk to the trails and not worry about finding parking before beginning our hike(s). Ate at the lounge restaurant and it was very good. Also thrilled to have a coffee shop, snack shop available. If able to, go to dinner one night at the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn restaurant (just a couple minutes away driving) then walk down to Fishcap Lake (nicknamed Moose Lake). It’s about a 5-10 min easy walk. We visited this lake 3 times and saw moose 2 of those times. When visiting after dinner around 7, it was like the animals were paid actors. Deer all around, birds, beaver swimming, and a huge, bull moose. One of the highlights of the trip! Negatives: a small hike is necessary to get to the parking lot. There is not dedicated guest parking, so during the day the lot fills fast due to others not staying at Many Glacier wanting to use the easily accessible trails. During the day, it is hard to find parking. It was not a problem when we left for dinner and returned in the evening. Our room had a balcony but the bench and floorboards were covered in bird poop so not really usable. Shower was tiny and room definitely was warm for sleeping with no AC (but expected—it is July at a national park lodge, afterall)"
