Under Canvas Glacier
8/10 Good
"Awesome experience. The shower water was too hot."
Great Northern Resort
8/10 Good
"Great spacious room"
Mini Golden Inns Motel
8/10 Good
"Clean place and comfortable bed. Appreciated the table and chairs. Microwave and refrigerator was nice. The internet/wifi was very slow. Tried to watch a program on satellite TV and we finally stopped watching because it kept spooling. For the price we paid, a breakfast would have been nice though we did have a lovely breakfast 10 min down the road in Columbia Falls at the Montana Coffee Traders. It was delicious."
Paddle Ridge
10/10 Excellent
"Paddle Ridge is an excellent place to stay only minutes from Glacier NP. With a cabin that could easily sleep 5 people it is a great value. If they could just install a couple of Adirondack chairs in front of cabin, they would have it all!!"
Hooks Hideaway Motel
10/10 Excellent
"No breakfast but the stay was nice"
Silverwolf Log Chalet Resort
10/10 Excellent
"It's a very nice clean property with wonderful cabins. A stovetop with pans and utensils would be wonderful but that's not available. I would come back again."
Belton Chalet
10/10 Excellent
"This is an amazing historic hotel right outside of glacier national. The Front desk staff were awesome; college kids from Lexington Kentucky. The on-site restaurant is fabulous. Joe can fix you up some great huckleberry cocktails. It’s a perfect place to stay when you’re in the area."
Many Glacier Hotel - Inside the Park
8/10 Good
"Stayed here for 2 nights in July with family. Positives: Gorgeous setting. Swiss-like esthetics. Loved that you could walk to the trails and not worry about finding parking before beginning our hike(s). Ate at the lounge restaurant and it was very good. Also thrilled to have a coffee shop, snack shop available. If able to, go to dinner one night at the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn restaurant (just a couple minutes away driving) then walk down to Fishcap Lake (nicknamed Moose Lake). It’s about a 5-10 min easy walk. We visited this lake 3 times and saw moose 2 of those times. When visiting after dinner around 7, it was like the animals were paid actors. Deer all around, birds, beaver swimming, and a huge, bull moose. One of the highlights of the trip! Negatives: a small hike is necessary to get to the parking lot. There is not dedicated guest parking, so during the day the lot fills fast due to others not staying at Many Glacier wanting to use the easily accessible trails. During the day, it is hard to find parking. It was not a problem when we left for dinner and returned in the evening. Our room had a balcony but the bench and floorboards were covered in bird poop so not really usable. Shower was tiny and room definitely was warm for sleeping with no AC (but expected—it is July at a national park lodge, afterall)"
Village Inn At Apgar - Inside the Park
10/10 Excellent
"Apgar has a casual, almost campground feel to it that I really loved. The lake and the views were breathtaking. We had plenty of room to sleep all 5 of us—our only issue was 1 bathroom and little space to get ready for the day. There were a couple of days that were rather warm reaching 90 degree temps but mornings and evenings were cool enough that the room was okay for sleeping without AC. We had 1 hiccup where we returned to our room after a day of hiking and none of our key cards worked. We were traveling with 2 other families and the same was true for them. But the staff were on it and immediately fixed the issue. If able, bring a camp/beach chair or picnic blanket for the beach area and definitely water shoes or sandals. The beach/lake bed is stone/rock."
