"It's just like camping without the setup and the takedown and much cleaner. Come here knowing that it is a very bear aware site and no food in your tents, which is normal for the area; it's a bit of a pain but understandable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, if you're a light sleeper, trains, other tent zippers, dogs, conversations, traffic, and early birds can be an issue. There are fun activities and its close to Glacier Park. So use the ear plugs and hone your stove fire starting skills (gets cold at night!) and you will be fine."
"It’s a great property, but just be aware that at least on the first floor, you can hear everything. It’s an old building, and you can hear noise from guests in the hall as well as the train across the road. On the other hand, the beds were great and the atmosphere was terrific."
"We stayed in the bunkhouse for two nights. The cabin was very nice. The location to Glacier National Park was ideal. There is a Cafe and bar very close which were great. The only reason for 4 stars was that I can't get over the fact that guests are not allowed to pet their horses and mules, which surround the property. The bunkhouse is about 6 feet from the fence with a mule that liked to hang his head over but you aren't allowed to pet them. There is no valid reason for keeping animals at a property like this with multiple rental units and not allowing guests a pet. (I grew up on a petting farm and have owned horses.)"
"This place is simple, sparkling clean and quiet. Beautiful land. Courteous staff and the friendliest welcome dogs you’ll ever find. Note, there’s no TV, WiFi just ok, so if that’s important to you, maybe find a different place. But if you want a quiet, pristine place to stay and explore the area, this is it. New shower/bathroom, comfortable beds. My guess is that the bad reviews must have been from a time when there was some construction going on - ignore them. Also, on some Tuesdays, there’s a rodeo! We left Monday, so didn’t get to experience that. I’d definitely stay again!"
"Fun little cabin that was just right for my wife, three granddaughters and me. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Our granddaughters loved the layout and started acting out Disney movie scenes immediately upon arrival. A little pricey, but then this was East Glacier. The staff was very helpful in getting us in and getting us settled."
"This is a quaint and rustic place to stay. Rooms are very clean and comfortable bed. Microwave & refrigerator came in handy. The breakfast was tasty with breakfast burritos, tasty muffins, cereal, juice and great coffee. Brian, the manager, is very helpful. I would stay here again."
