Piedmont is totally rural although only a few miles from Rapid City. Seemed very like all the other rural areas which is the VAST majority of South Dakota.

The area and the place itself are very nice. The cottages are nice and comfy and clean the only thing that I would suggest to try and get better It's definitely the beds. They are super soft once you lay in them you sink into the middle, making it very uncomfortable to rest. The other thing is, I ...

Everything was clean, new an beautifully decorated. It smelled amazing too. The staff was phenominal, always willing to help and accomodate you during your state.

Explore the great outdoors at Petrified Forest of the Black Hills, a lovely green space in Piedmont. Attend a sporting event or simply enjoy the top-notch restaurants while you're in the area.

We really didn't even go into the town of Piedmont.
Stay closer to Mt Rushmore/crazy horse area lots of places in Rapid City!!!
I liked the area, and like Rapid City and Keystone quite a bit.
