「We had a lovely stay at villa Alta. The staff were very welcoming, building was historical but modern. Really loved waking up to the birds chirping. Would highly recommend staying here to get away from the hustle and bustle for an authentic counrty feel. 」

「Wir (Familie mit einem Kind) haben den Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. Von dort aus haben wir Ausflüge nach Lucca, Pisa und Florenz gemacht. Die Unterkunft war sauber und gut gepflegt. Auch die Küche war ausreichend ausgestattet. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für die genannten Ausflüge. 」

「Property was not clean (cobwebs everywhere, dirty floor, broken toilet seat) and bug infested. Avoid! We checked out after one night as we could not stay. Disappointed that Hotels.com have not been able to offer an immediate refund and compensation based on the photos provided. 」

「Pedro was an excellent host and owner of the hotel and very attentive to all the needs of all the customers. And Mimi was a very pleasant surprise greeting me at the door every time I entered. Very charming little spot, extremely clean and an extremely beautiful area. The breakfasts are unbelievably yummy with a lot of selection.」

「Great BnB with friendly staff and very short walking distance to the historical city center or Lucca. We enjoyed our stay very much. The place has free parking on-site and we were very happy with the breakfast vouchers we could use at the café next door. 」
