I stayed with my two childern and we enjoyed beach all the day. I love this hotel because of beachfront, and there are so many stores and restraunts. Bahnzan night market was very close and it was very exciting experience to me.:-)

The owner was very kind. My family and I were always provided bottled water daily. The apartment is across the street from the beach and the restaurant ciel blue downstairs was great! Convenient.

I was really so close to the beach, restaurants, and everything you need in between. Patong is where everything happens. I liked the hotel and regret that we didn’t book longer.

Patong Vacation

Staff was very pleasant. After a significant leg injury the moved my room to a building that had an elevator. Daily they would check if I needed anything. Great location.

Quite cheap and really close to the beach. Good restaurants around. I wouldn't call it a hotel, just rooms on the upper floor of the restaurant. The room was clean and spacious and we got water every day. Check-in was a bit confusing. Otherwise, a really good package

Horrible experience. The check in counter is inside of a restaurant and nobody was there. When I asked one of the restaurants employees for help she yelled at me angry not sure why. After a minute I realized that there was a note to go next door to modern living hotel. When I get next door the people at modern were very nice. If it wasn't for girl named tip I would have just left. I inquire about staying at modern but they were booked. Getting to the room was an experience too. Took elevator at modern to 5th floor then through a narrow hallway. had to carry my heavy luggage down 2 flights of stairs. Then the room Bed hard as a rock. The windows shook so bad from the wind. I ended up putting tissue in between the window and frame. The tfaffic is so loud all night because the windows are so thin. And construction during the day with lots of door slamming from hallway. Terrible. No sound proof at all. Way over priced for this type of room... I'll never recommend anyone to stay there. Modern living people were awesome though.

I know it’s $45 a night but it’s no more than a star. You’re getting a room with a bed. Ok for one person at most. Be aware that it’s a very difficult entry. You have to go up a lift to level 5 in one building then walk across to another building and walk down 6 flights of stairs with all your luggage. This then becomes your route in and out everyday. Took us ages to find the place. ‘Modern residence’ is the name of the street facing building even though it’s called ‘island Patong’ on here. Our sheets were stained. Some pros: The service people were really nice and helpful. They were aware how hard the entry was. You’re right across the road from the patrolled part of the beach which is a great bonus. You’re walking distance to banzaan and Bangla but far enough to not be too close to the noise. There’s heaps of food downstairs. The sound of the waves crashing is beautiful. The room has a lot of privacy and the balcony is cute. Overall if you’re in Patong for a few days it’s manageable but no more than that. It’s not worth more than 2 days here anyway. Check it out and leave. Go to Kamala or rawaii or bang tao.
