We spent over two weeks at the hotel, and were unhappy about many aspects of this hotel. While we enjoyed the nice beach and spacious room, the hotel fell short and desperately needs oversight. Service: The hotel is understaffed (the stressed current staff express frequently that there are not enough people). -Repeatedly rooms not cleaned after 5:00 pm even when we’ve hung the ‘make up room’ sign at 8:00 am. -Staff are not trained properly, for example, they repeatedly bring food we ordered at the beachside with no silverware or napkins. Pasta carbonara with your fingers, anyone? -Beachside tables never wiped clean -Not enough sun beds for guests -Pool water filthy with debris, cloudy water, foam -In-room dishes appear to be put back dirty -Dirty dishes outside rooms for multiple days -Waiter dropped tongs on floor at breakfast and put back on food counter -Towels in room delivered with filth folded inside -Each room gets four 450 ml bottles of water each day. Maximum. Noise: We booked an ocean view room so we can relax on the balcony and listen to the sea after a day of swimming. Almost every night, there’s an event between the rooms and the ocean, blasting the sound at full volume. Location: This hotel appears to have been built near a garbage dump, and we are assaulted daily with the reeking smell of rotting garbage. General manager: Obstinate and defensive and utterly impossible to speak with. We are seasoned travelers, I can safely tell you to avoid this place

Excellent facilities at the resort, swimming pools are great, the beach is beautiful. Our suite was pretty nice. Two restaurants at the resort, food was limited and also gave our whole family food poisoning.

Not 5 STAR I spent almost 2k for 2 rooms, for that amount I expect a better room Room: bathroom door will not close shut, looks like the room had flooded in the past and made the wooden door swell, therefore the door would not shut closed. Half of the outlets did not work Bathroom shower water leaked everywhere; poor shower floor design, shower floor higher than the bathroom floor. Airport pickup: could not use since it runs every 2 hrs and due to our flights time, we would have to wait. So we had to pay for Grab round trip ourselves for airport transfers. Restaurant: Although it was not busy, there is only one restaurant and understaffed for dinner. the service we soooo slow. We waited almost an hour for our food. They didn’t even bring our egg rolls. Otherwise, Daily free breakfast buffet was the best and our highlight of the day. Housekeeping: we came back one day, and the room was not made. She apologized and we left so it could be cleaned Beach: not enough beach loungers for the amount of people at the hotel. We had to lie on the grass near the beach.

Great but can be improved.
Excellent and very comfortable stay at Movenpick Waverly. Room is big and clean with great views of the ocean especially at sunset. Breakfast spread was superb. Beach was private and clean though the waters are not as clear and blue like Maldives or Krabi. They need to improve on their checking out process where they needed 10 mins to check the room but didn’t inform you when it was done. Had to check in with the counter staff again to complete the check out process. Mildly frustrating if you have a flight to catch with their slow process. Also my room TV was not working. Got the hotel maintenance guys in but they couldn’t fix it. Had to live without TV for that few days. Overall, it is a great hotel which I would still highly recommend to everyone.

The hotel is new, clean, nice nice rooms, clean toilet, gorgeous view. The first problem is the food for breakfast there is nothing to eat, but there are eggs and bread, everything else is spread out throughout the restaurant, not very tasty. The waiters work well, very attentive. The food for dinner is also not very tasty. The second big note about the hotel is that the hotel’s beach has huge natural waves and it’s impossible to swim in the ocean now. We chose a hotel with a pool overlooking the ocean. Upon arrival we received a message that the pool was closed for service. The hotel refused our request to return the money for the reservation. . As a result, every day there is noisy work at the pool with a bunch of workers, you can’t swim in the ocean! This is not the correct work of the hotel administration!!!!!! and reconsider the breakfasts, this is not the breakfast of a 5 star hotel!!!!!!

I love my vacation here at Movenpick. The room was spectacular and very good service. Great morning breakfast buffet. Very beautiful view of the pool and the beach. Only downside is poor draining system, every time I shower the water would flood the bathroom and I have to wait for it to slowly drain.

I checked out two days early because the property and service was so bad. No working wi fi, closed main restaurant, not all lights are even on in the hotel. This place should not even be open for business. No working in room phone. Worn out electrical sockets. No electric socket near the bed. I can go on an on.. other people during my stay also left early. In Asia they dint follow rules like USA.. Could truly be a health hazard staying here..

An isolated oasis
Fantastic resort with various pools and direct access to beachfront. Breakfast buffet was a big spread with variety of quality western and traditional Vietnamese dishes. The Coco Loco cocktail is a must try. My only issue were with the reusable flip flops provided in the room that appeared dirty. I know it’s not eco-friendly but I do prefer the hygienic option of disposable slippers.

Movenpick was excellent, great set up, fantastic beach, excellent room and food. Expedia was amazing, they were able to switch my property from the Shell’s which was not as I expected. Most everything was closed and the beach was unkept and not easy to swim, all rocky.

Don’t stay in Suite 1325. Every hour the A/C was pounding loudly like someone at the door. Front desk said they’re look into the matter but no resolution. Declined change of suite in the other wing because view wasn’t nice. Urine smell coming from shower drain. No room slippers. Very disappointed as this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel.

모벤픽은 우리 가족의 푸꾸옥 첫 호텔이였다. 깔끔했고 몇가지의 프로그램은 정말 만족도를 높이는데 있어 도움이 되었다. 하지만. 초콜릿 아워에 실내에서 흡연을 하는 일부 투숙객을 제지하지 않는 모습은 조금 아쉬움으로 남는다. 실내 흡연을 하는 투숙객의 매너 문제지만 호텔의 규칙에 대한 부분이 다소 약한게 아닐까? 라는 생각이 든다. 북부쪽 여행을 계획한다면 다시 갈의사는 있다

There were not many people and it's very quiet and slow. The staffs here were super friendly, the seimming pools were great, the bar by the pool was great. The only pity was there were no water facilities such as kayak or SUP, and there were no shower caps and cotton swabs in the room.

Amazing
We love here so much ! It's really quiet and slow. The swimming pools and the bar next to the pool are awesome. The bed is super comfortable. We had a great time here and didn't want to leave.
