The first room I was given smelled like marijuana, cigarette smoke, mold, and filth. So I asked for a new room. The new room smelled the same. This tells me that housekeeping probably uses the same bucket of dirty mop water for the whole hotel without changing it. The sheets were dirty, the toilet wouldn't flush, the channels on the TV didn't match the guide. The property looked like a lot of squatters live in this property. I will never stay here again.

Booked this spot for $204 thinking I’d get a decent night’s rest, a shower, and a general sense of “I’ll probably survive.” Technically… I got 2 out of 3. Arrival felt less like check-in and more like entering a VIP event where the dress code is “follow the car in front of you and hope for the best.” Gated? Yes. Secure? Let’s call it… optimistic. Bonus entertainment included distant gunshots, tire screeches, police lights like a disco ball and some very entrepreneurial night walkers making their rounds. Don’t make eye contact if you aren’t look for a short term roommate for the night. The room itself had personality. The mattress, for example, tried to fold me into it like a taco the moment I sat down. I’m not that heavy, but it clearly had ambitions. Sheets were bug-free (huge win), though they did feature a few artistic burn holes…abstract expressionism, cigarette edition. Cockroaches were very kind to stay outside, or at least not make an appearance inside so for that I am thankful. The bathroom? A visual experience. I considered showering but ultimately decided my shoes deserved better, and my dignity agreed. End result: I slept in my clothes, hood up, headphones on, door locked like Fort Knox, and one eye open like a paranoid raccoon. Woke up alive, car still there, and honestly… that’s a successful stay. Would I recommend it? Only if you enjoy a little adrenaline with your overnight accommodations. Not for the faint of heart, but definitely unforgettable.

We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was! Especially when you consider that this is a pet-friendly motel! The room was cleaner than even many 4-star, expensive hotels. While the hotel has suffered some maintenance issues, the cleanliness was outstanding. If I could give it a 6-star review, I would.

Room was dirty, old, and disgusting. Lifted up sheets and mattress had mold and stains and what looked like bed bug residue. Didn’t end up staying and the property said my stay was refunded, we’ll see if I get my money back.

Very secure, never seen a motel with a gate and armed police, room was fine-an odd stain on the door by the handle-food can be ordered securely through a service without having to deal with the gate-prefer all white bedspreads-Im a sucker for a motel room that smells like cigarettes-Modern updates with some wear and tear but for the price I'm not a complainer...Couldn't tell if there was lots nearby-gate prohibitive....Area def has signs of life but car needed....

I reserved this hotel because it looked good in the pictures and it was a low price and I expect the room to be small or not the best thing in the wold but I’m very disappointed in how I found the room, there was a disgusting tabaco smell even though you don’t suppose to smoke in the premises, also dirty floor and blankets with stains and footprints and a lot of cigarette burns in every single one of the sheets and that is not even the worst, the zinc had a lot of hair like someone got a haircut by themselves and nobody ever cleaned the area, how am I supposed to think that they clean the rest of the room itself if they didn’t even had the intention to clean what its basic in the room, had to spend over $100 extra for cleaning supplies and a new sheets because I didn’t even wanted to touch any part of the room specially the zinc area, very disgusting, never again staying in this hotel or any other red roof, I would rather sleep in my car!!! (I didn’t even go to the office to complain because I knew that they are not going to help me or refound me anyway based on other reviews). Nobody went to clean my room after staying, not taking out the trash or put more toilet paper ether. Area seems very dangerous as well. I’ve had stay in cheaper places and at least they were clean!

Everything was not as described. There were so many people there running around outside prostituting, doing drugs And also , there was somebody there that tried to get there prostitute to go to my husband's room lol good thing i have a faithful husband.

The hotel was nothing like the pictures showed. There were drug addicts and prostitution right outside. The security guard was move protected then the cops. Highly recommend that you do not stay here. Horrible experience with Expedia as well.

The rooms were terrible. Curtians and blankets had cigarette burns. Asked for Non-smoking, got a smokers room. Neighborhood is not safe. We walked away from the reservation. You know its bad when the hotel clerk is behind thick glass for protection.
