"Hope Land was probably best in its heyday, some 40 years ago: marble floors, nice architecture, grand lobby.. BUT in 2026, all I saw was a dilapidated piece of filthy room. Will not stay here again. The breakfast buffet was so-so: cold baked beans, lukewarm scramble eggs, instant Nescafé, seriously no freshly brewed coffee.. it was disappointing. Thankfully as a frequent traveler, we only booked two nights to try. We are visiting our son who is a digital nomad. Hope Land is across the street..."

"I was very disappointed when I got to the hotel and especially to my room. The pictures are not representative at all. The hotel is old and not well maintained. My room was smelling bad when we arrived. The staff was very helpful however and the hotel is well located. It is a 3 star hotel, do not expect more."
