"The Gull Cottage where we stayed was absolutely excellent! Ruth who owns and runs the cottage was super, welcoming us to the cottage and explaining the facilities. The cottage is very well equipped, super clean, very comfortable, and in a great location just moments from the beach. We hope to return as soon as possible!"

"Some debris from other guests was left in the room and the carpets could have been cleaner. Wifi access was very poor. Fridge was not working when we arrived and staff fixed it, but it took time. There had been a sponge in the kitchen the first day, but then it disappeared. Staff was friendly and the property was in good repair."

"A really beautiful property up on the heights with stunning views across the lagoon towards Knysna and a nice balcony to sit out in the evening and lovely gardens and pool ( book the deluxe room it’s worth it !) Huge comfy bed and big bath tub, loved the fluffy robes . Breakfast was delicious with a great choice of fruits, yoghurt, cereals, cheese and ham , breads and a cooked breakfast made to order . Well stocked bar with lovely wine choice and a nice guest sitting room . Two nice restaurants within a 5 minute drive , Butterfly Blue on the beach at Brenton was superb . Knysna was about 12 mins drive away Francois and the Staff could not have been more helpful helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary and we appreciated the extra little touches and we loved the peacefulness yet still being close to the town. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommended a stay here ."
