Above expectation!

This was one of the best properties we have stayed at. The attention to detail was phenomenal. There was not one thing we wished could have been better. The view, the gardens, the comfort, the games, the beds - everything was set up with our comfort in mind. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Cute for a short stay

The dog, Reacher, is super friendly. Water is only rain water so must be used sparingly. The little space is great for a short stay but would be cramped for extended periods. Beautiful garden with little pond right on your doorstep, but careful of wasps.

The property was beautiful and we'll maintained. Checking in was simple and everyone was very friendly. I was blown away by how incredibly beautiful the room was, we were lucky to have the room withe a huge bathroom which includes a bath tub as well as a wonderful shower. The water pressure and temperature were fantastic. We took a walk I to town for a late lunch and a drink - it is very walkable going into town. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast before heading off to our next destination along the garden route. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I hope that we will be back again one day.

Awesome!

We can’t get enough of Woodlands. Second time here and we fell in love with the place even more - despite it raining the entire time! Fantastic place. We can take our dog Ollie and feel so relaxed, what a gem.

Bright and Beautiful

We stayed in the Comfort Cabin for one night. It is beautifully decorated with designer furniture. It was super clean and bright. The kitchen was well equiped and you will not be able to beat the price.

Es war ganz wundervoll in dieser Unterkunft! Die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und gestaltet, ebenso wie die Gärten und der anliegende Trail! Man hat einen unglaublichen Blick auf die Wälder und nachts auf den Sternenhimmel. Peaceful stay

The Woodlands is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Julie is very easy to work with. I was with a friend on this trip, but often I am a solo traveler. I feel like it is a safe place to stay if you are alone. It also has good wifi.

Well maintained in a rustic setting. Excellent kitchen and well equipped. Large balcony overlooking garden and trees Lovely room overall and nice wet room. WiFi and TV was poor and disappointed with the bbq as it was dirty and no charcoal or lighters provided. No shampoo or shower gel provided.

Fantastiskt ställe som har allt!

Helfräscht och modernt rum med fullt utrustat kök, soffa och skön säng. Helt nytt med rustika handgjorda ursnygga trämöbler, till och med tavelramarna. Genomtänkt och flott design. En otrolig trädgård med damm och massor av växter, härlig murad grill invid pergola med utemöbler och mysig kvällsbelysning. Dessutom stor balkong med utsikt över trädgården och skogen. En vandringsled i skogen gick från trädgården. Bra att organiskt avfall samlades till kompost. Trevlig värd. Fanns kul lekplats för barn. Går inte att hitta bättre ställe. Nära till en charmig originell restaurang Totties Kitchen. Woodlands rekommenderar vi för alla som vill till Knysna, det är inte långt ifrån och mycket trevligare än att bo på i centrum vid stranden med bara hotell och butiker på rad.

Schöner kann eine Unterkunft kaum sein. Wir haben 3 Nächte in einem wunderbaren Appartement verbracht und wären so gerne länger geblieben. Traumhaft gelegen, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Blick vom Balkon Entspannung pur, der Garten ein blühender Traum (trotz Winter) und soviele Dinge die man unternehmen kann... Amazing Knysna accommodation

My wife, 2 year old son and I had an amazing stay at Woodlands! The accommodation is luxury (better than the pics on the website). The view from the deck especially at sunset is magical and makes for the best braai/bbq! Great place for a toddler with the chickens, child-friendly dog and playground. Hosts were very helpful and respectful The place is a fair drive from the city so if you don't mind the drive then a wonderful alternative to staying in the main town.

Wonderful modern gem with great view

This was a wonderful stay. They have renovated an old school into modern, serene apartments that overlook an incredible valley. The property is a beautifully designed with playground for children, little walkways that lead to rock games or benches, and an amazing long trail leading down to the stream. Close by are all kinds of farm shop/restaurants but it's low key tourism. Felt like northern California to us. We loved the apartments and felt so relaxed and refreshed. Internet was great too.

Komfortable, saubere, modern eingerichtete Wohnung

Eine ausgezeichnete Unterkunft mit allem Komfort, in traumhafter Landschaft. Idealer Ort zum Entspannen aber auch nah = 15 Autominuten von Knysna. Abends auf dem Balkon , bei einem Glas Wein den Geräuschen des Waldes zu lauschen war ein Highlight unserer Reise. Sogar ein Supermarkt in naher Entfernung. Ausgesprochen nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.
