「easy check in at bar ,friendly staff ,my only gripe was pillows to soft and room far too hot .apart from that everything was hunky dory」

「We have stayed there before and wanted to return. It was so worth it. Nice room and wonderful restaurant with fabulous food and drink. I even had pancakes and the grill was broken! I had them two years ago and they were the best in Scotland so the owner made sure they could make them again!! They even recognized us (two traveling couples) from two years ago! Such amiable people! Five stars!!」

「I spent five days at the lodge. The staff is excellent. Most have been working at the lodge for 20+ years. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was small but functional. I appreciated being able to open the windows at night for fresh air. The pub is first rate. I strongly suggest having breakfast there. 「Staff were friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was not my favourite meal, overcooked egg and bacon. But next day requested it to be cooked how we like it, and they did. Parking was excellent and the rooms were very clean. The Wall lights by the bed need attention, bulbs not working. Was not worth askin g for them to be replaced at the time.」
