Decent location, mediocre service

Airconditioning turns on and off every 10 minutes. Room phone not working so you have to go to the lobby to complain. Complained with the receptionist, says the maintenance crew will attend to my room, does not come at all. Took a 3 bed room, came with only 2 sets of pillows. Complained about this, same case, housekeeping did not come either. Thankfully only stayed one night. Staff not equipped to handle high occupancy rate. Only saving grace for the hotel is it's location and convenience. Everything else is below average.

My first room was dirty and musky. The entire 4th floor was musky. My curtains didn’t close properly leaving at least 2 feet of gap. I requested for a room change but because I booked a superior room, they only had availability on the 4th floor. So I paid 54 bucks over the counter to upgrade to a deluxe. Curtains closed this time and room wasn’t musky but the bathroom this time reeked of bleach. I checked out at 10pm the same day I checked in because I just can’t feel comfortable in the room to rest. Upon check out, the sweet lady at the reception was nice enough to ask if everything was alright with the room because I wanted to check out without spending a night and paying for an upgrade after checking in but I told her all is fine because I was already prepared to check out and there’s nothing she could have done to make me spend the night. 1 star rating for the rooms, but 5 star rating for the ladies working at reception from check-in and check-out.
