「The welcome was amazing, the hotel is the home of the owner who makes a point of greeting his guests. It is a Victorian building of immense character in a stunning position on top of a headland and next to Tintagel Castle. The views are incredible. The room was spacious and comfortable with open sea views. The dining room is majestic and the saloon is comfortable victorian splender. Finally the staff were simply excellent. We had a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!」

「Staff helpful and friendly, breakfast was nice and enough choice for us, dinner was really nice and good value and the room was clean but just needed a bit of extra attention in the bathroom. But for the price paid and location we were more than happy.」

「Things didnt work in the property like the heated towel rail and the shower screen didnt shut properly it was also damp but aprt from that it was lovely」

「Fully enjoyed our two nights there with our only issue being the requirement to select menu for breakfast before 8 pm each night. Missed the message on the second night and it clearly was problematic. Our fault but not everyone is watching messages on holiday.」

「We turned up and there was already a family in the property, we had no way of contacting someone and the family kindly gave us the owners number who contacted us the next day but the night we arrived we were left stranded after 4 hours of driving with no where to stay with 3 young children. I would not book again 」

「Ben, was extremely understanding that due to the jet fuel situation in the UK, we had to cut our trip short and he was not able to move us to a different day. Outside of expedia's commission he offered to refund a portion of the stay since we couldn't be there that night. Just waiting on Expedia to update it in my account」

「Wow, thank you to Sue and her team, Sally, Sal and Will. What a warm welcome! We had such a lovely time with you all. A well run, friendly and warm spirited pub and B&B. The drinks were cold, and flowed easily and the food second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay. No wonder the local patrons enjoy spending their down time with you!」

「Could do with a hoover under bunk beds. Didn’t have all of the advertised vegetables with roast dinner and wasn’t offered any alternatives or discount. Service in restaurant and bar slow at times. Beautiful view of PolZeath beach . Sofas could do with a clean as water stains on them and a few more cushions on sofa would be a nice extra.Overall very pleased with our stay and would return again.」
