「They made extra effort to stay with our dogs they gave us a ground floor close to the dog run area. Front desk was very helpful and informative. I did not get her name but the checkin lady was happy friendly and knowledgeable she was great!!!!! Thank you」

「We loved the charming hotel, gorgeous views of Little Traverse Bay and courteous staff. Renovations have made this historic landmark quite comfortable. We were able to easily ride our bikes into Petosky and to the State Park. Our room (which faced highway 31) was a bit noisier than expected. 」

「The room was beautiful with a great view. It was very clean and spacious. The jacuzzi tub was clean and there was plenty of hot water. I have to say I found the fake fireplace tacky, though. Also, for the price of the room, I would expect better toilet paper and kleenex--it was the worst I've ever had to use.」

「It was a very nice stay… employees were very nice. Just noticed in room, the smoke detector was extremely dusty and all of the fire doors 1st to 3rd floors at both ends of hallway were blocked open which goes against for code」

「This place made you slow down and feel as if you went back in time. Such a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The neighborhood is so beautiful with Victorian homes all around. The downtown was very close. 」

「This motel was super clean desk person was very friendly you could walk right across the street and Mackinac Bridge was right there. It was wonderful just walking across the street and seating on a bench by the lake. I highly recommend this motel.」
