A little piece of magic in difficult times
We stayed here for three weeks, just as the Covid-19 pandemic was taking hold. The staff were outstanding, friendly and very cheery despite knowing that they would be soon without work. They were thoroughly professional, cheery, and outstanding. Can't speak highly enough of Team Wyndham at Dreamland. And we will return next year when this is all behind us. Stay safe.

Great deal and location
Great deal and location. Good for a relaxing stay away from large crowds. Bring cash here as I didn’t see an international ATM nearby and you may need it at venues on the beach. I enjoyed the free bicycles too—it’s a good area to ride or go for a run. Surfing can be good here if the weather is right. Try the Tuna filet at the restaurant on the beach—delicious!

Outstanding villa experience
I had an absolute amazing stay. I had the duplex villa with private pool and it was just beautiful. So private and luxurious. The pool was amazing, bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable, and the second bedroom was also perfect with two beds and an outdoor jacuzzi. The staff was outstanding also. So attentive and friendly. Yetti the manager and Nikson at the front desk were outstanding in hospitality. They were so personable and professional. I loved them! I would definitely return.

Rooms are awesome, but the food is terrible and over priced, whilst the service in the restaurants was very poor also

The staffs are good with service quality and passion. But i am really disappointed to the housekeeping cleaning. They didnt clean well to my room and refill the amenities on every single day, i have to re-call again when i am back at night. I hope this can be improved.

Dreamland should be renamed Pathetic-land
The hotel is only one-year-old but it's already falling apart because of over-tourism. Room was clean but poor water drainage for my shower. I didn't report it because I only had a short stay. Dreamland Beach is not a great beach. Staff was nice enough but some were inexperienced. Check-in and check-out were incredibly slow. There are so many hotels in Bali. I definitely wouldn't return to Wyndham.

Flooding showers and understaffed
The hotel was severely understaffed. Service was slow. Our hotel bathroom was covered in black mold. Water pressure was not good, only had rain shower option and our shower flooded up to our ankles whenever we take showers. House keeping was OK, missed out on replacing some towels a few times but it's ok, when i asked for towels to be replaced, they delivered. There's not much food in the area, so room service food is the only way to get food. But room service food comes very slowly and food was not very tasty so order in advance and don't be picky about the taste. Hard to get transport out on Grab or go jek so better to get transport from front desk. My first day breakfast the buffet food smelled sour and have gone bad, they ran out of cups for coffee. But probably because of the huge crowd at breakfast, the staff were overwhelmed. Tables were not cleared and nobody was ever at the pancake or fried noodle Station.

DISGRACEFUL! DO NOT STAY HERE!
I do not recommend ANYONE staying here, especially if you are in Bali to get married!!!! There were so many red flags early on I wish we didn't ignore. Poor communication, inconsiderate, and just not worth the amount of money! My husband and I brought so many guests to support this resort and we have so many regrets. We were told rooms were sold out so guests were forced to pay more for a suite despite the fact after complaining rooms were magically available. Maintaince was done to a room so one of our friends were unexpectedly upgraded from a deluxe room to a 2 bedeoom villa! How were we the bride and groom, yet we had a significant smaller room! Not to mention, our room didn't have any special touches regarding our wedding. We were so disappointed and underwhelmed with the service! One of our friends even had a toilet where his shower should be and when complaining he wasn't given another room and was refused a refund. He was forced to book elsewhere because he couldn't shower! All of thee above made us furious, but worst of all is we were promised a free shuttle for our guests staying at the Wyndham to and from our wedding venue. I even confirmed guest names and pick up time the day before. After our wedding we found out the Wyndham completely forgot about our guests and were 45 minutes late to our wedding which cause a delay in our whole wedding!!!! I am absolutely disgusted at this place and don't want any bride or groom to feel the way we did with so much stress!!

(+) clean hotel, big rooms, nice pool (-) dreamland (new Kuta beach) are is a bit deserted with half build hotels all over the place, rooms can use some decorations, not enough sun beds next to the pool, note for couples: lot’s of children running around

the location is far out however the facilities are not strong enough. tho the front desk staff are kind but super slow with room changing and providing plug converter. also the spa girl is good but the spa room with no scent and music. and the breakfast is awful.

Every thing with this hotel was good. Just there isnt much to do in this area unless you're a surfer the oceans current was to rough to swim in. But the pool at this hotel is really nice.

Great weekend getaway, very safe and secluded
My husband only surfs right and there's a surf break walking distance from the hotel. (Both left and right) Staff is super friendly and we ate at both restaurants. Food is fantastic. Hidden little gem, would recommend for families.

Good value for money
Great place to stay Pool was nice although could be square Restaurant nice food but a little pricey for Bali Toilet near reception not working Sometimes toiletries were not given on a daily basis or all towels and cleaning was done late Good room service with still serving breakfast menu late at night Friendly staff Location close to beach but no shops around and have to get taxi to leave resort area. Closest shops around 5-7km away. Overall would come back again

Good hotel
Hotel stay was great and very comfortable. You will need a motorbike when staying here. It is located in a compound that covers a very large area and is not really walkable. Restaurants and stores are 2 miles away, beaches very close and taxi drivers all over the place. But seriously, the indonesian government needs to start cracking down on these taxi coops. Every taxi will scam you or overcharge by quoting one price and demanding another upon arrival.They constantly harass everyone trying to enjoy their vacation and in general make tourists feel unsafe.

Good swimming pool, close to Dreamland Beach. Breakfast buffet was good. The negative bathroom towels were close to being replaced. Lighting in the room was low., needed extra lights. The very dissapointing issue was that foul polluted waste water from the hotel was emptying into the stream . The stench could be seen and smelt from the western end of the breakfast restaurant . Very bad environmental issue. The stream flows to thr beach.

Peaceful stay
Nice secluded place, peaceful and relaxing. Only down side is that it’s a 10-15 bike ride or car ride out to find food and supplies. Overall if you’re looking for a quiet peaceful vacation. This is the place for you. Staff were amazing and friendly, always ready to help with a smile on their face. Lovely staff and people.

Would stay again in a heartbeat
Staff made me feel welcome from check in to a very early checkout. angitta at the front desk was always helpful when I needed something. The room I had was on the top floor and the balcony floated out into a lush untouched forest of green. The pool was another highlight. Huge ane gorgeous.

Could walk to dreamland beach. Very nice and clean. We got a great room rate but everything else was a bit expensive.

Very quiet location a short walk to Dreamland beach, which is reasonably clean with a few beach restaurants and other shopping options. The hotel is very nice with a large pool area. The buffet breakfast has a lot of variety. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The only negative is the distance (about 4 km) to Jimbaran.

Friendly and nice hotel staff
The check in took 25-30 mins due to they were not able to find my reservation at hotels.com. Once they found my booking, my room was upgraded to the biggest suite in the resort and they even arrange transportation to send me to wedding reception.

The hotel and the staff are amazing. Very quiet, at least in mid November. The beach near the hotel is terribly busy, don't recommend it if you come in a relax mood. Definitely a place to relax at the hotel and enjoy the amazing warm staff...

Truly one of the best hotel experiences that my husband and I have had. The absolute most friendly staff, very warm and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfy. The food was delicious, no matter what meal it was (beautiful breakfast buffet spread, delicious dinners, always being served with a smile). Lastly I cannot forget the pool, it was just amazing. When we return to Bali we most definitely will stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay
Contrary to what is said here in the site when I booked the place has a 24 hour concierge so you can check in at any time you arrive which is very convenient especially for us whose group arrived at like 3am. They were very nice and helpful. The room was nice and spacious and very clean. I had thought it would not be nice because of past reviews but it was way above what I had expected it to be. The food is also very good and was priced very competitively. Whenever you called the house keeping they were prompt. The only thing I would say they should do is remove the left over food if any in the room. We ordered breakfast in the room and was expecting it to be out when we came back at night but they felt those we didn’t touch to leave it. We had to call for them to take it out. Their facilities are also nice, the swimming pool is big. Airport transfers can also be arranged through them. I think the rooms are good value for the money you pay. It is family friendly resort as well. They have villas if you wish but we stayed in a regular room. I just suggest that you rent a car with driver when you stay in this location which is abundant and cheap in Bali so you can go around. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. They also have a beach close by and is nicer than the ones I saw at Jimbaran and seminyak area. I would definitely stay here again next time. They did not disappoint. What they had on their photos was the exact same one I had arrived too.

Great hotel, poor location.
Great hotel. No complaints about it. But it is let down by its location, 5 minutes from what could be a fantastic beach but, like Bali in general, is an overcrowded dump, and there are no facilities away from the hotel.

Treatment by staff appalling - steer clear
Extremely disappointed with this hotel. I travel weekly with work and the staff at this hotel were hands down the worst staff I have ever encountered. Steer well clear of it if you expect at a minimum decent service. We stayed for a total of 3 nights. After the first night we alerted he reception that there was a horrible smell coming from the drains in the ensuite. We must have told them on 5 different occasions that day and no one came to see the room. We requested a room changed and were told no. At 10pm that night someone came to “fix it”,sprayed air conditioner and left. We both woke the next morning feeling physically ill with migraines the smell was so bad.When we tried to speak to staff in the morning they smirked, laughed at us and gave us fake names. We asked to speak to manager who made fun of us for the duration of our conversation while trying to push us into a taxi (we had booked the hotel car the night before& agreed a price for the next leg of our trip but when the time came we were told we were lying and no car was ever booked *more laughing at us*) We both left the hotel feeling sick for more than 24hours, extremely upset and deflated. The treatment we received was completely uncalled for and unnecessary. We were extremely pleasant to the staff and even used google translate to try ensure our problem was explained properly. It has made me rethink ever staying with any whyndam hotels again as they clearly don’t have a high caliber of customer service.

Comfortable hotel with great staff
I twisted my ankle at the previous hotel so the Guest Relations Manager Ras relocated my family to an upgraded villa closer to the pool and restaurant. All the staff were very helpful, the food was good and it was a short 5 min walk to Dreamland beach.

Wyndham = Nice.. Dreamland Beach needs a clean-up
Good hotel all-n-all. Service was good and the hotel pool is nice. A suggestion would be to clean up the access to Dreamland Beach which is 3-4 min walk away. There is rubbish everywhere and could easily be cleaned up. I believe the hotel owners have a shared interest in this effort as they have the name of that beach in their name. I was very disappointed when going there. The roads around the area are very good. The views on 1 side of the hotel was nice water views, the others were average as you are looking at unfinished hotels in most directions and apparently they have sat there unfinished for a long while.

The pool is very nice and overall the hotel looks good...however, the floor of our room was very dirty when we arrived and wasn’t cleaned until 6pm the next day. Also the room was not very soundproof which was an issue due to the number of people making noise in the corridor until late at night...there was even a gap inbetween the door and the doorframe (you could actually see in the room from the outside if you got close enough). Service was very slow in the cafe/restaurant...otherwise most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great Value - friendly staff:)
Very friendly & helpful staff - we were able to rent a scooter from the front desk. The location is nice and quiet as it’s set back about 1km from the busy road & is near a golf course. The closest beach (dreamland) is pretty gross with litter and crowds so I’m just giving it an okay on location. We also prefer the dining options or beach club near Sunday’s or Single Fin. Overall a great value, comfortable stay, friendly staff - just make sure to rent a scooter to get to some of the other areas of Uluwatu :)

The 2 rooms we stayed at were dark and had very little lighting. The bathrooms smelled and molding was visible in the shower. Reviews say new but it is not.
