「Lovely history to the building we stayed in of which part of which was the hotel. Felt very safe. Luca, the host was great and made us feel very welcome. Very easy walking access to all the local shops and restaurants including the marinas and ports. The private garden was very tranquil. The pool looked stunning but the water was quite cold so not the best for a leisurely swim. No hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay in Sorrento. Felt very safe 」

「Location in the old town is great. Room is basic, but very clean and comfortable. Front desk person was very helpful with local recommendations and always available via WhatsApp. We loved it and would come again. If you drive, you have to park in a garage and walk 5 mins to the hotel. They will send address to the garage so you use that in your GPS. We met people who stayed at one of the fancy hotels up on the cliff, but they complained about the 30 min walk to the downtown area. This hotel...

「The apartment is well located, close to the city center. The room included a spacious balcony and a mini kitchen. I had everything I needed for a short stay in Sorrento. The reception was very friendly! They upgraded my room and gave me a lot of advice on my trip. The only drawback was that the wall between rooms is too thin that I can clearly hear what people from other rooms is doing...Fortunately, my neighbors were quiet after midnight, so it wasn’t a big issue for me.」

「Melody is a great little BnB located in a building complex about a block or two away (5mins walking) from the main street in Sorrento. The hosts were wonderful and kind - we reached out to them beforehand and we were greeted by Michael at the front door. The facilities were clean and there is breakfast available in the morning. The actual hotel is located on the 4th floor of the building, and you must go to the back entrance of the building in order to enter. 」

「Super overpriced. Most expensive one among 3 hotels (35% to 50% more, the other one in Sorrento too and closer to train station) but family thinks this is the cheapest. Room is extremely outdated while charged a EU price in the south Italy! Owner is business polite but no more. Feels cold and ignorance in responding messages compared to other 2 hotels. 「Host was very accommodating and kind. Room and surroundings were extremely clean and spacious. While the room just has a fridge and kettle, we also had access to a communal area for breakfast and simple meals (microwave, toaster oven, and dishes (no cookware). Train 8 minutes walk, ferry 20 minutes (with an 1.30 euro elevator down cliff to dock if you have mobility challenges). Great supermarket's 3 minutes away and many great restaurants. 「Get the room with the view, fabulous view, and a big terrace. Good breakfast room, and was an easy walk to downtown. I thought the walk back was going to be a little hard, but was easy. Very relaxing atmosphere, and nice and quiet at night. I would recommend as a place to stay. There was a parking lot within 25 metres.」
