beautiful place to stay, only 25 minutes from killbear national Park, the lake it's on is calm and beautiful. the staff were pleasant and helpful. rooms were big and clean
staff was very helpful, resort had a lot to do and kept the kids entertained. everything was very clean.
breakfast was fantastic with a view.
Definitely be back.
My husband and I enjoyed the canoeing and bonfire. The place is clean and maintained properly. The resort staff are very friendly. It's also near the Towerhill and West Parry sound district museum. Hope the amenities will get a chance for an upgrade.
The staff was wonderful. The beach was great with lots of loungers and umbrellas. Great food and the rooms were beautiful with balconies overlooking the lake. A fantastic getaway.
Lake View was peaceful and free use of canoes and kayaks was also good. Dinner was so-so and breakfast was basic. However rooms were in good condition and staff mostly helpful

Beautiful resort …was perfect for our group with kids ranging from preschoolers to 10 year olds
Grounds were not well maintained, however, the cleanliness on the beach and rooms made up for it
The beach was incredible for little kids
Beautiful resort. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax. Food was delicious, with generous portions and plenty of variety, and a wholesome buffet style breakfast was perfect. complimentary access to kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards is a bonus. Beach is clean with plenty of lounge chairs.

The view from the room was a great lake view. The complimentaey breakfast was good, the dinner menu had variety the food was good.. It was evident that they were shortstaffed which was visible with the staff. They were polite but certainly not engaging or looking happy. there were canoes, a few paddle boards two rafts in the water.
The room was clean and comfortable with a balcony where you can sit out at night. However, I could hear the people walking around and moving furniture in the room above me. This racket was annoying first thing in the morning. The buffet breakfast was good--better than some other places. At the restaurant , I didn't try the pizza, but it looked good. The beef dip sandwich was quite good. I found the staff helpful.
What a great location! We stayed in the main lodge which had a beautiful room. We walked by the cabins which looked great as well. Will book those next time to try them out. Lake is beautiful and no shortage of kayaks and canoes. Lot's of people fishing off the docks. Staff were really kind and helpful and went out of their way
We were very happy with our stay at the resort. The property was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious.
The only downside was that there wasn't always someone at the front desk, so we occasionally had to wait for assistance. Also, when we requested pool towels, it took quite a while for them to be delivered.
Other than that, everything was wonderful. We had a great experience and would happily stay here again.
The room was lovely and had a balcony that faced the lake. As such we were able to see the colours of the sunrise and sunset. The resort had plenty of water toys which we were able to easily access. We will definitely be back in the fall to enjoy the autumn colours!

This was our third year at the resort and we found it in poorer shape than other years with the pool closed the majority of our stay, the floating dock in the weeds away from its anchor point away from the central beach swimming area, and paddle board paddles unavailable. So overall a bit run down compared with previous years. If those things were better maintained or corrected I would recommend Grand Tappattoo for an accessible family vacation getaway.
Dining room wait staff were friendly and welcoming and food quality was good.
The cabin we stayed in was clean but the balcony was unkept and unusable.
Overall ok but could use a refresh.
The property is beautiful, quiet, treed. The has been friendly, helpful. Unfortunately the breakfast buffet was disappointing - a limited selection and hot food items were cold! Our room's bathroom was spotlessly clean. Our overall impression: Almost excellent.
