The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations. You can even request a bag breakfast to go when leaving the hotel before 6am.

AMAZING! This hotel is beautiful... I felt like I was in the Garden of Eden. I loved everything about it. The food, the pool, the pristine rooms with an incredible bathroom and shower. If you are looking for a place to relax and forget the world, this is it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Had some cute boutique shops for woman and 7 restaurants near hotel.

The room is anything but impressive in size, quiet luxury and comfort. An amazing resort with extreme attention to detail. The front desk were more than accommodating with some special requests we made.

Great place for relax and detox time. Eco-friendly lodge with awesome gardens, trails and a waterfall. Bungalows have a great view to the mountains. Excellent and healthy food. Road requieres a 4WD, but it is NOT dangerous, just bumpy.

We stayed and Studio Hotel for the second time after the first experience was very pleasurable. The rooms are great, the staff extremely friendly, and the location is hard to beat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was amazingly clean and well kept....no carpet anywhere thank goodness. The pool was kept pristine and had direct sunlight until about 2pm. One of the best parts was the free breakfast....it was made to order and delicious. I recommend the omelette plate. :) If you are active, the walking distance to the main beach road was definitely walkable. Awesome stay and would definitely recommend. One caveat....you want to have overnight...

From the first interaction with Steven in reception (complimentary glass of wine upon arrival), to their willingness to help. I had a race and was not able to take advantage of their buffet breakfast, however the kitchen was kind enough to prepare me a plate of food that was amazing upon my return back to the hotel. Rooms were spacious and loved the balcony and kitchen option. Kitchen was equipped, but lacked some basic things like towels for hot pans and a strainer for pasta. It had just one...

This was my retreat experience and was delighted by the place. I see that EXPEDIA rates it at 3 1/2 star but would consider this place much higher. The place is very new and decorated in a calm, simple but yet stylish way. The setting on the side of the mountain offers stunning views and the sound of the forest is so peaceful. I was blown away by the attention of the employees, they are genuine and kind. If you are concern about the semi/raw diet...don't be!! I was so surprise on how good...

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel! The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, making it the perfect getaway!

Great experience ! Dave ,Marsha, Elezar and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable ,and everything was taken care of. They arranged a tour, massage, taxi service, meal delivery, and were always there with any questions I had. Fresh breakfasts using local ingredients were delicious. I had a nice room near the pool and hot tub, which were always clean and available. Very nice landscaping with palm trees ,flowers, and plants. Being next to the canyon is nice, the property...

We loved the hotel. My wife and I were there for 3 nights as part of a combination business trip/vacation. The staff was wonderful, including great recommendations for restaurants. The facilities are very clean and beautiful. The best part of the stay is the beautiful grounds. It is a lush jungle with monkeys and birds, as well as beautiful flowers. The furnishings are pretty basic--older but functional pieces. The beds are very firm. As we were working remotely in the mornings, WiFi was...

We scheduled the hotel to pick us up at airport. It was so nice to get off a long plane ride and see someone holding a card with your name on it. From SJO to Jaco was in a comfortable Mercedes van with cold water and beer waiting for us. Once we got to Club del Mar, it could not have been any better. The food at restaurant was great, drinks at poolside were cool and refreshing. Every person we met was helpful and kind. I don't want to name them because I would be afraid I would leave someone...

We had a wonderful Christmas week at Canal Grande Lodge! Raffael and his staff were excellent hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. The small hotel was quiet and beautifully situated. You could walk to restaurants and a few small local stores. We enjoyed Santa Margaritas down the street on 2 nights of our stay. If you know this is a small, local property that’s comfortably lived in and you don’t expect a palace for your shoestring budget, you’ll be very happily surprised by this...

Very nice hotel on Herradura Beach. The hotel and the people are very good. The swimming poll is the best atracttion. But the hotel is boring, are not enough activities if you dont go on tour or practice golf. The food is very expensive in all restaurants inside and in the Marina.A big supermarket is about 500 meters from the hotel.Jaco town is about 10 minutes.

I traveled with my son and guest to Costa Rica to experience the country for the first time. Me for the wildlife and escape, my son for the volcanoes. We got EVERYTHING. The hotel was an hour or so from the San Jose airport, offered the conveniences of a resort and provided a peaceful and overwhelmingly beautiful atmosphere. There's something beautiful to see my matter where you look. I wandered through the resort early one morning and saw a white-faced monkey which I will always...

Cocomar is a wonderful retreat along a quiet beach, away from the hustle and bustle of nearby beach towns. We were greeted very warmly by the owner and staff, and our room was nice and clean with a balcony overlooking the gardens and the sizable pool - even a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. One of the two buildings is currently under renovation, so there were just a few other families staying at the hotel, creating an intimate, family feel - all the other guests were very friendly. They also...

Una excelente atención, y la calidad del Desayuno muy buena
