"First room I was given, key didn’t work. Went back down to the front desk where they provided me with a new key. Back up to the 3rd floor and the family already staying in that room were woken by guests they were not expecting. The front desk had assigned me a room that was already occupied! Not a pleasant experience for either party at 2am! "

"I stayed 3 nights. My room was not cleaned any of the days I was there. The clerk that checked me in was unable to charge the correct credit card and also only charged me for one night stay. This took a little time to correct at time of check out."

"It is a nice park to visit and tour the caves. The staff doing the tours are energetic and informative. However the staff at the visitors center when asked questions basically handed us a brochure and said read it and you will know.. The staff at the restaurant were top notch and very friendly… they made us feel welcome. Now to explain the low scores: we rented cabin 105 for two days. The first day temps were in the thirties at best. We got in cabin turned heat on and the cabin did not warm above the outside temp.. we looked around for the cause and found a 1/2 inch gap from door handle to bottom of door.. we literally spend about four hours in our bed fully dressed and covered up to try to keep warm. My wife went to the reservation desk and was told all other rooms were booked. The best he could do is give us one more blanket.. we asked for two he did not give us an extra. That cabin should not. Occupied when temps are below mid 30 degrees. We paid online for the cabin and felt like they didn’t care about the frigid cabin we spent the first night in. Coming from Michigan we had no other options but to stay in the cabin and freeze both nights. As for the staff in the Green uniforms with the fancy hat… well you may want to retrain them for customer service skills… as for staying at the cabins I would say don’t waste your money or time.. Get a place outside of the park and drive in for the tours."

"The pic shows the pool area which is great. Our Room hadn’t been swept or mopped. Bed had dirt between the sheets. So I requested a new room but still poolside. The guy at the front counter followed me back to the room to see and then walked me to the room next that one asking if that one was ok. It was cleaner. The cleaning staff did clean it good while we were gone the next morning. Sign at bathroom sink says to ask if you forgot any basic necessities so I went to counter for toothpaste but was told they only have tooth brushes. The ice machine didn’t work so I had to walk to the other side of hotel for a working machine. On the trip to the other side I seen some broken units with parts out in the floor. After our room was cleaned though it was a nice stay. The pool and hot tub were nice. Always packed but definitely was the highlight of the hotel. I loved that the room was poolside to the indoor pool. The staff was friendly considering I was complaining and they did make it right. "

"The bathroom was so dirty and poorly maintained. The lobby/lounge was also dirty. I'm imagining it does not get vacuumed as it should. "
