Staff were excellent and hotel is in a good area however as larger North Americans we found the rooms a bit too small for to manoeuvre around in with all our luggage, that’s the only real drawback though. Otherwise great.

Amazing hotel in an amazing location!

We had such a lovely stay at Le Mareuil that we decided to book it again for when we return from a sojourn elsewhere. The staff is so kind and attentive, the room was comfortable, very clean, and nicely appointed, breakfast was very good, and the recommendations for restaurants nearby were just right. The location in our opinion was fantastic—just outside the marais, so not as crowded, although there were plenty of nearby places that Parisians seemed to frequent. But the hotel, on a small street not far from the Place du Republique, was a quiet oasis.

Nice hotel in a good location

Great hotel with a good location. Quiet and very 'French' atmosphere. Only a short walk to the nearest metro, a popular bakery around the corner. Clean and nice, timeless decor. I really enjoyed my stay at Le Mareuil :)
