Nice hotel, great location

We booked Hotel Basile for its central location within Paris - just a few blocks from Palais Garnier and La Madeleine. The hotel itself was fine, no complaints! The room and bathroom were a bit small but since we only stayed for two nights, it was not a big deal and we were able to make do. The front desk staff were really lovely.

Will be staying here on any further trips to Paris. I’ve stayed at the large branded hotels in the past and for 1/3 the cost, this hotel was in every way just as good. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Paris

The hotel staff is what makes this hotel. They were very pleasant and welcoming from the beginning. They asked us questions about our planned activities and when we let them know we were doing a walking tour in the crazy heat they made sure we were supplied with refreshing canned spray to help stay cool. Breakfast is fresh and amazing. I didn’t plan on having it there but it turned out to be worth it. Great location for the metros. There are restaurants nearby and a franprix a few doors down. This is near the Opera area (A9). We were a party of 3 and was happy they had a triple bed room. They had a bottle of water inside and refillable station downstairs. 20/10 would highly recommend.

Wonderful staff great value

Very centrally located on a quiet street in Paris. The staff was exceptional. The room nicely appointed. Great air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely. I have been to Paris several times. I would use this hotel again.

Loved our stay at Le Basile! Great location in 9eme arrondissement. The staff is very friendly and make you feel at home! Wonderful Personalized breakfast every day. Monsieur Pascal is a great host always available and willing to assist hotel guests! Definitely a place to come back again when in Paris!

The property felt newly updated and the location is wonderful for shopping, dining and getting to public transportation. The room was typical Paris size- not large - but very nicely appointed, even with waffle robes, great water pressure, amazing AC and a super comfortable bed. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Basile. The staff was extraordinary. The owner Pascal couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were larger than we expected and very clean with lots of charm. Our breakfasts were included and made especially for us. I would absolutely go back here the next time in Paris.

Hotel staff and location is fantastic. Located on a quiet street that is safe and has a few restaurants, grocery store and deli. We got a family room, which was excellent. One main door and then two separate rooms with their own doors. Rooms have everything you need and cozy. Some may say it is small, but we were always out and so did not feel that. Perfect location for us who like to walk a little and not be in the tourist packed locations all day.

Great hotel in a great location.

Great hotel in a great location. Staff was very nice and super helpful. Room was kind of small but not unusually so considering that it’s Paris. Located walking distance from lots of great shopping and restaurants. The only thing I found a little odd was that you need to return the room key to the front desk every time you leave the hotel. Not sure if this is a common practice but have never had to do this anywhere else. Even with that though, no issues at all. Overall great experience and I would stay here again for sure.

Really charming hotel on a quiet street in the Opera/Grands boulevards area. The hotel was impeccably clean and the staff were super friendly. They noted that it was my birthday and surprised us with birthday balloons in the room. The room was TEENY but that is to be expected with most hotels in Paris. One note: it would not be super accessible to anyone with mobility issues. The elevator is only accessed up several stairs and is very small. Didn’t appear to be wheelchair/walker navigation room. Other than that, it was delightful and we would absolutely stay again.
