Very straight forward Courtyard style hotel with very professional staff, tidy rooms, and an exceptional view of Gare de Lyon and Montmartre from the top floors. Hotel is near everything you could possible need. Recommended for the nervous traveler or for a first time visit to Paris.

Very well located near the Gare de Lyon train station and RER A train line (direct to and from Disney Land Paris) and the batobus (boat public transport). Room was clean and staff was nice. However, family room is quite small for 4 with 2 beds in a small room and just a small table with only 1 chair. A bit expansive for such a small space. Breakfast was good and free for the small kids.

Great location and helpful staff. The only thing I didn’t like is the semitransparent bathroom wall that lighted the bedroom when the bathroom light was turned on.

We have visited this hotel twice, once in the summer of 2022 and most recently in January 2024. We thoroughly enjoyed our stays as they always provide us with a delightful view. The rooms are spacious, perfect for our family. The location is very convenient! This hotel will be our go-to every time we visit Paris.

Our family Vaction was amazing, the hotel Customer service was awesome and they went above and beyond for us Idir was amazing he went above for our son birthday and gave us some good advise on fun spot for him. Breakfast was fresh and nice

Room was very small couldn’t move around having 4 individuals staying and open sofa bed it was hard to move around, bathroom was fine but toilet seat it's built right next to the wall only 4” separated. Being 6’ tall and 250 lbs hard to use it poorly thought and designed. Staff was friendly.

Had a great stay - was very convenient to access major landmarks and museums. Lot of dining options close by too. The "batobus" boat ride is a 5 min walk from the hotel, and one can travel to all the major landmarks using that service.

Trip to Paris
We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Gare De Lyon. The receptionist was very accommodating and let us do an early checkin. We were able to rest after a long flight. We were very apprehensive after hearing about the bedbugs in Paris all over the news. Marriott assured us they were not impacted. We had a great stay close to public transportation, metro, bus and taxis!

Booked a Family Room, 1 King Bed with Sofa bed. Space was very tight in the hotel. Felt like it was a room that happened to have a sofa bed. However the location was convenient, the staff friendly, and they had a filtered water dispenser on our floor which came in handy for our water bottles. The hotel doesn't have the charm of a boutique hotel, but it felt very modern and it was a great place for us to stay.

Traffic!
Well….. location was good and bad due to a lot of street construction prepping for the Olympics next year. Therefore, it was quite difficult for drivers to pick us up. Just added to wait times. Great view from our room.
