"Das Gallo ist ein sehr schönes familiengeführtes, mittelgroßes Hotel in Tignale. Das Personal ist ausnahmslos sehr freundlich und immer sehr Hilfsbereit. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer mit Seeblick gebucht. Dies ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, da die Zimmer zur Straßenseite sicher mit Verkehrslärm zu kämpfen haben. Motorräder drehen in der Kehre vor dem Hotel gern am Gasgriff. "It does not have a pool. This is the main reason for booking this accommodation. It has a photo showing a lovely pool area. It does not have this. Other negatives - only one plug socket in room - no where near a mirror or tv. No coffee making facilities in room. Paid 130 euro in taxi fair as they did not reply to 3 messages regarding check in and their advert said check in was 3-6 with no after hours check in. Was meant to be my 50th birthday treat - i was so disappointed. Also no air con remote...

"Really nice campsite with mobile homes amongst pine and olive trees, right by the lake. We had a mobile home which was ok, had all the utensils in (apart from a kettle) but we lacked some decking area/picket fence to provide some privacy that other mobile homes had which felt a bit odd. Staff very good, especially the night watch who was very helpful. "

"Sehr ruhig gelegen, wenn man für sich sein will ideal. Man muss sich aber im klaren sein, dass man nicht mal eben schnell zu Fuß zum Bäcker/Restaurant o.ä. laufen kann. Ausblick sehr schön. Alles ordentlich und wirklich top sauber, nur die Möbel leider schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Warmwasser und Wasserdruck sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, da (lt. Non metto 5***** solo per le modalità di check-in che, a mio avviso, andrebbero riviste: prima il contatto con agenzia centrale, che mi rimanda all'agenzia di zona, quindi richiesta anticipata con invio dati, successivamente richiesta (sempre online) del pagamento city tax, poi ricevo le modalità per il check-in vero e proprio.... "The front desk staff were mean. They are not welcoming at all. They seem to have forgotten that they are in the hospitality industry. There was no bell man upon my arrival. Additionally, On my departure when I asked for a bell man it felt like pulling teeth. When they finally agreed to provide the bell man, he only brought my heavy bags and only to the front desk and not closet or into my car. Overall, the customer service was poor"
