「Decent apartment, aimed at long stay I’d guess. Comfy bed No toiletries, would have liked tea, coffee, milk, kitchen roll or something kitchen wise…and a dishwasher rather than a washing machine…but as I say fine for longer stay Also lounge sofa smelt bodyish Good communication though 」

「This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. 「Reception staff sullen; restaurant staff overrun, service slow. Food quality poor. Hotel looks good but otherwise nothing special. Shower awful - hot then cold, lost pressure during my shower. Grounds have some interesting photo opportunities for weddings but disjointed and tacky for any other time.」

「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」

「Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. 」
