"I loved this place! It was located in a very quiet part of greater Tokyo and it was really nice and easy to walk around the neighborhood. I especially liked how close to it was to different restaurants and Oji Station. Please take advantage of the late nights walks you can go on and enjoy each detail because it is what makes this place so special. Will for sure book again if I go back to Japan anytime soon. "My husband and I stayed for about 10 days for our honeymoon and the staff were so kind each day. The room premium room was very spacious and I adored hearing the train go by while taking a bath each night. The bed and pillow were a bit too firm for our liking, but we still slept great! It’s in a perfect location by Oji Station with multiple buses and trains. There’s konbini nearby and a Starbucks too if you want to have a little coffee. "Very convenient location near the Ikebukuro station. The JY line entrance was just a quick walk down the street and up the stairs. There was a Family Mart, Lawson, and 7-11 nearby as well. There was a coffee shop next to Family Mart that opened early that was very pleasant to relax and enjoy coffee and a breakfast pastry before heading out to the rail station. The Hotel room was very spacious for a Tokyo property. Very clean and staff were very friendly. The view from my room allowed me to see the trains and the station. The property has several eating areas, we tried the breakfast buffet which had a lot of selections and was very tasty. We also tried the bar which had a good drink selection and also food options to snack on with your drink. A life saver on property was the washer/dryer! It was humid during our stay and having the option to wash your clothes was very convenient! It allowed me to also bring half the clothes that I would need for the length that we stayed. The tv in room also tracks the timing of the washing machines so you know when they are busy as well as when your clothes are done. Check in was very easy, check out was also very easy. Since there were no additional charges, I just dropped the keycard in the return box and that was all that was needed. One of the key factors for choosing this hotel was also the direct shuttle bus to and from Haneda Airport. I should note that the fire & police station was close so sirens were heard often."

Shinjuku Granbell Hotel

"Staff was incredible and the breakfast buffet was very good and diverse. Good location, but it is a little far from shinjuku station if you are walking. We took the train from the airport and walked with our luggage from shinjuku station. Worth getting a cab from that station, because its nearly a mile walk. Otherwise, there is a lot of restaurants and shops very close to the hotel and plenty to do right near the hotel"

"We were so spoiled as guests and consequently had very high expectations for the following stays during our trip (that those fell short). Very friendly and helpfull staff. Spacious room. Not very centrally located, but there were some cafes/ restaurants and convenient stores on walking distance. We arrived very early in the morning and had to pay for an extra night in order to get the room before check in time (price was higher than when booked thru Expedia)"
