  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

The room was nice and clean, spacious, with a wonderful view. The hotel didn’t look like much at first from the outside but the room was impressive. Nice, clean beach and heated pool. The only issue was a dropping Wi-Fi.

Clean room With cute decor. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff that were very helpful. A bargain for somewhere right on the beach with a pool and balcony with a fabulous sunset view. Adorable cats that live on premises also as a perk while we were missing our fur babies. Will stay here again.

1 Star — Safety and Maintenance Concerns Room 406 had several maintenance issues, including broken window blinds (allowing full daylight around 5 a.m.), a cracked peephole, a patio door that did not close properly without applying force, and the presence of cockroaches. The shower had reliable hot water and good water pressure. The primary concern involved a late-night security interaction. At approximately 10:45 p.m., a man wearing a hoodie knocked on our door and asked if we were okay. He stated that he was security but was not clearly identifiable as staff. Due to the time and circumstances, I went to the front desk to ask why security had been sent to our room. Two individuals identifying themselves as security were present near the office. The front desk staff stated they were unaware of any security call or dispatch related to our room. After further discussion, one of the security staff members confirmed that he knocked on our door because “someone called.” A second security staff member later stated that Room 410 had reported a dehumidifier issue. The explanations provided were inconsistent, and the situation highlighted a lack of clear communication between security and the front desk. Guests should not have unexplained security visits late at night without clear documentation or coordination. I also reported the presence of a cockroach to the front desk. The issue did not appear to receive further attention. Day 4: Room 410 appeared to be vacant. Overall, this stay
