It is a perfect example of a mom-and-pop hotel that makes its guests feel at home when they are traveling. Traditional Guatamula Breakfast served HOT and Fresh, was a perfect way to start the day.

The staff here was incredibly hospitable and thoughtful. They sincerely want you to enjoy your stay and are kind and sweet. The rooms are basic, but comfortable, and it was a quiet place to stay.

I ended up here when my other reservation was cancelled. The first room wasn’t very good - rock hard bed and couldn’t open a window to get any fresh air. The second room was better (great view of the volcano) but noisier (barking dogs) Also wifi didn’t reach the room and the shower didn’t have any hot water. Decided to just stick it out. They don’t speak a word of English so led to some confusion over how long I wanted to stay but we managed to sort it out eventually. The pool is nice but could use some lounge chairs so you can hang out there a bit. Breakfast lot was good.
