The staff was courteous. The hotel is clean but the towels in the room, the hot water and the facilities were not inviting. I will avoid hotels that do not maintain a security guard or front desk manager 24/7. I was the only one in the hotel for one night with no one else around and did not like it.

Nice Stay

I enjoyed my overnight stay at this Inn. The room was comfortable and clean, the grounds were very quiet and the surrounding Mountain View was simply breathtaking. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

A CHARMING SPOT in the desert

A charming hotel in the middle of the desert! I love that fact that it's small and intimate - eight rooms total. The staff is friendly and ready to help if you need it. The room had a great bed with fluffy pillows, a mini fridge and coffee maker. The pools and recreation area were both lovely. What a great find.

Definitely a 10. Simple elegance in a quiet location. Spotlessly clean. Mineral springs pool and a nice large hot tub . Usually when traveling the quality of bedding is disappointing but we were happy to sleep in high quality sheets and great pillows. I look forward to returning to this Inn when we can stay for 3-4 days as a relaxing vacation. To the owners we say, ‘Well Done!! ‘

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was very nice. There wasn't any dish detergent to wash dishes so I used shampoo. Please use a better quality coffee it tasted like water.

Great Desert Hideaway

What a great place. My only minor complaints were that the window locks didn’t work And we were on the ground floor. Luckily they supplied us with those small metal clips to put on the window. The beds were ok as were the linens, but the beautiful pool and hot tub more than made up for these minor things.

Thank you Lisa. Great job hosting. She made sure we were comfortable through out our stay. She helped Sister book a late spa treatment. Although the spa treatment was great, the spa room was a little noisy from the AC unit. Also the fan in the dinning area next to spa room, was in need of replacement. Jacuzzi was not filtering first night, but repaired early the next day. We requested a late checkout (thank you John) to continue to enjoy Jacuzzi/pool a little longer! Doggie loved the dog spot in back patio. Look forward to going back.

Quiet place

Nice place with easy pre-check in. Clean room with refrigerator & coffee maker. Comfortable bed, soft, plushy pillows and soft linens. Access to fully stocked kitchen, dining area, outdoor garden seating, barbecue, and enclosed doggy area. Located on a busy street but outdoor sounds did not disturb our sleep; I wear earplugs. Quiet neighborhood. Not much to do nearby. Stater Brothers & Vons are a short drive away. Bathroom is small & could use some tlc; loose sink faucet, needs new caulking, dripping tub faucet. These didn’t bother the functionality. One night for an event in Palm Desert.

Just what we needed

We needed a place for the night to sleep on our cross country road trip. This was a very remote, tidy boutique style motel a short distance from Palm Springs. We had the smallest room on site which was still a good size, with a comfy king bed, lounge chairs, cool AC and large windows, and more private than the larger rooms facing the pool. The mountain view in the morning was gorgeous. There is a small heater in the bathroom which warms the toilet seat, as a bonus. Bonus points for room being clean, and very pet friendly property with a pet relief area, cute fire put area with string lights, and gated pool area. The surrounding area was residential which made walking the pup easy. Note that this is the desert, which is mostly brambly shrubs, not grassy, so tread with caution in unpaved areas. We also loved the heated pool and hot tub which were spotlessly clean. Docked a star because it took several minutes for the hot water to come out of the shower, but when it did, it was VERY hot. Also, I had a mild allergic reaction to the softener they use on their very fluffy towels. Otherwise, it was a restful and restorative stay with good sheets, good pillows, and two blocks from a lovely breakfast cafe (Azure Palms Cafe). Would stay again.
