There was a situation that could've been potentially dangerous. There was an instance on our last night where we went down to the pool area at night and when it came time to leave we had to walk around the heated pool area where there was a space that was poorly lit. A tweaker had some how made their way onto the property and was curled up and rocking back and forth in this dimly lit area in front of the exit. I almost didn't see him and my friend was almost within grabbing distance of them. We took the other exit but this was a scary situation as we hoped they wouldn't notice us before we left. We took a longer detour to our room so he wouldn't see which room we went into. We were afraid to leave our room for the rest of the night, staff was extremely unhelpful, we called the front desk around 10:30pm and no answer, we called the after hours number and no answer, we called the front desk again but no answer but it took us through a dial menu and the employee on the phone was questioning whether or not we were actual guests at the hotel despite giving her my all my information and room number. We never received an apology and i'm unsure if they actually sent security to remove the trespasser. Overall the stay wasn't terrible, but this instance alone made me realize how potentially unsafe this property could be, especially for two women traveling alone.
