Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM every day, which is very very inconvenient for most of the tourist. Most of the tours start at 8–9 a.m. every day. There is no time for breakfast.

We only had one night at the hotel but Marco, the owner, could not do enough to make us feel welcome. He is obviously very proud of his business and of Palermo itself and ensured that we had everything we needed. The property is on a pedestrianised street and is a perfect location for walking the streets and sights of Palermo. On leaving we had unknowingly left some of our property in the room but Marco quickly phoned to say that he had found it. Overall an excellent service.

Couldn’t have picked a better place!!
Our room was very spacious, clean and practical. It was centrally located within walking distance to many attractions. The breakfast was very good with an assortment of fruits, yoghurts, croissants and amazing cappuccino! The owner, Mario was very sweet and obliging. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone on a budget. There is great value here.

Nice and cozy unit
Had some difficulty in finding the unit, but was good enough to stay one night. The owner/manager was very kind and communicable. Good access to most of the attractions of the area.

Marco the owner and manager treats all his guests with loving care. He is very attentive and always takes time to answer your questions. The breakfast Marco prepares for his guests is very good. The location of B&B Opera excellent. All in all my wife and i highly recommend this wonderful B&B Joel & Jackie Strauss

great location
This bnb is in a great location to see the sights in Palermo. You can walk everywhere and lots of restaurants around. A 5 minute walk to the airport bus. It’s just past the end of the old town which can be a bit grotty. It’s quiet and on a pedestrian street. Nice staff, nice breakfast and very clean.

Marco the owner, did everything possible to make our stay perfect. His breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day. Marco provided us with the best places to eat from pizza, to gelato, to fine dining. The accommodations are very comfortable. The location is the best. Marco makes it special. This was our second time here and it won't be our last.

Marco was amazing and the B&B was clean and well kept. He puts out a fantastic spread for breakfast and helps you with anything you need with a smile. Would recommend to anyone.

A great stay
This was one of my better hotel stays on a two month trip through Europe. I loved the location of this property - on a popular pedestrian lane that intersects with a main street that leads directly into the Centro Storico. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff attentive.

Area was amazing. Close to everything. The host Marco was fantastic! He points out great places to see and has some great restaurant recommendations. The only fault was that the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, but who knows what the beds in the other rooms were like. Bed aside, I would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved the service we received from the owner Marco. He made us feel welcomed from the moment we got there. His recommendations and suggestions were 100%. The location is perfect. We were close to everything. The best shopping, restaurants, and gelato are only minutes away. Our room was comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. A little difficult to find at first but once we did, it was so wonderful! I traveled to Palermo with 3 friends and Marco made our stay so warm and comfortable! Breakfast everyday was lovely, and Marco showed us all the best spots to visit and eat in Palermo and he was right on the money. Theresa’s help was so appreciated as well. The location of this bed and breakfast was also very convenient for all of the site we went to see. Thank you so much Marco!

It is situated in the best area of Palermo. It is Close to all the main attractions. The host is very welcoming giving us useful tips. The room was very clean and really nice. Definitely raccomended.

It is the greatest of the best
Marco is a great host and may you feel home. He is always very helpful. The Hotel is clean and his staff kind and nice. During breakfast time he is friendly to each one of us and make us feel special. I will recommended this hotel to my family and friends. If I go back to Palermo, I will stay there again with pleasure

I inform we had a technical problem the first day and we had to give a small room. From the second day there was availability of a large room but the host did not want to change the room and preferred to stay in the same room.

Great service even when we couldn't stay
We really liked the owner manager who let us leave our bags at breakfast time the morning we arrived from the ferry. He explained there was a problem with the shower in our room and when we returned at lunch time had arranged alternative accommodation at another B&B. We thought Opera was in a brilliant location near restaurants and cafes and kept finding ourselves back there. The provincial tourist info office is in the building next door. We had a good stay at the other B&B but would have loved to stay at Opera and really appreciated how hard the owner worked to look after us. Any midrange ratings are only because we never saw our booked room but reception and breakfast rooms were very pleasant.

Centrally Located Modern and Urban Loft-like B&B
Marco is an amazing host. He helped us get our rental car parked and was always pleasant and very accommodating. This B&B is amazing. It is located on the 3rd floor of what appears to be a business building located on a pedestrian walkway with several shops and restaurants. The B&B is very modern and clean and somewhat very urban "loft-like." The breakfast is very good and the location can't be beat.

The bed and breakfast is very clean and conveniently located near restaurants, shops and tour attractions. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this place.

Great B and B in central location.
Great B and B located in central location, on a pedestrian mall. Marco, the owner, was the most hospitable of hosts, and went to great lengths to make us feel at home in his establishment. He made us feel like family, not just temporary guests. Breakfast was plentiful and included the freshest of pastries, fruit, cereal, eggs - a great selection. Room was on the small side, but very good bed and bathroom.

Palermo's gem
we had a short stay in Palermo. Marco, hotel owner gave us lots of tips and he was very helpful and welcoming. It was nice to meet someone who is so proud of his city. He should be very proud of his hotel, too! Lovely room and great breakfast with lots of local specialities.

Best kept secret in Palermo.
Excellent surprise. The location is fantastic both for visiting and shopping. The room we got was large and clean and newly refurbished. Marco is a fantastic host, he printed our boarding passes, ordered a shuttle to the airport. I almost forgot, breakfast was great, full of Italian croissants and canali. Unbeatable.
