「This place was the highlight of our stay in Uruguay and Argentina. The family that run the lodge are incredibly warm and welcoming. The focus on renewable building materials and food are incredibly interesting and impressive. The gardens and food are wonderful. We will be back without a doubt!」

「We had a beautiful suite in a separate building from the main house. The food and the wine at the restaurant was terrific and it was nice to stay one night in Colonia and go sightseeing in the old town.」

「Very nice location in Colonia, right by the old city. Had some very nice spaces. The staff were very friendly and provided great recommendations. The pool was small but nice. A bit cold, but welcome since the weather was hot. Very good breakfast options.」

「Amazing stay. Quaint. Breakfast included is amazing. Ordered the Americano. Charco Bistro is the best place to eat in town. I had the shrimp appetizer and the ribeye. House red tannat was lovely! All staff were exceptionally friendly! Turn air conditioning on in the room with a remote. Go to De los Suspiros for white wine and cheese in the afternoon. Incredible!」

「Location does not matter as Colonia is so small and every spot is within walking distance. Feel relax and the hotel has a small pool. Breakfast is also nice.」

「This place is the best!!! I would have extended my stay a week, but alas it was booked. Great location. Main drag 1 1/2 blocks away and a sandy beach right next store. Super quiet.」

「Eine tolle Unterkunft, sehr empfehlenswert. Ein schönes Zimmer, alles sauber und ordentlich. Das Bad und WC einwandfrei. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Morgens wird schönes Frühstück angeboten. Fahrräder stehen zur Verfügung.」

「Desconozco si se aceptan mascotas, mas no habían huéspedes que tuvieran. La piscina estaba sucia ya que me comentaron que no funcionaba el equipo para filtrar. Lo arreglaron casi al final de mi estadía. No se aviso eso previo a mi reserva. La habitación se limpiaba a diario, aunque el baño enseguida emanaba un poco de olor a pis. Eso se podría arreglar fácilmente con algún desodorante. Sector cocina, faltaba limpieza en la heladera de uso común.」
