「It's an old building that needs a bit of updating however it's in an excellent location and the staff were super helpful and friendly.」

「This is our third stay at this lovely hotel, and once again, it has exceeded our expectations. It never fails to impress, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. The location is fantastic, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, with the added bonus of being within easy walking distance of Padstow for a relaxing evening stroll and a meal. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming and attentive, making you feel well looked after throughout your stay. The rooms are spacious,...

「Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out. The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail. It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies....

「The staff were amazing & we enjoyed our large breakfast & as well as a delicious carvery meal on Weds evening (I believe this runs during the summer in addition to Sundays). The room had everything we needed & was nicely decorated. The reason I've had to put 3 stars is because the room was insanely hot despite the weather cooling outside (it was raining in the morning but the room was pushing 30 degrees) so we struggled to sleep. There was a fan but it didn't do a lot & really there needs to be...

「on arrival, the property stunk and had bad odour of mice or rats but we did not see any, we found nail clipping on the floor and looked not well cleaned. On the first evening, people arrived at the property and showed us that they also booked the same property and questioned our booking, was awkward and embarcing to my wife and kids. Day 3 while we sat eating we found mice running in the middle of the reception. we left the next morning, one day early. Total miss selling.」

「Not the pictures used to advertise the property. Hair and old guests stuff left behind, odd smell and generally not a nice stay, also right by a building site so lights were everywhere」

「Brilliant location and home. Faultless and played its part in a brilliant holiday」

「Well fitted lounge and kitchen area which was very clean and well presented. Main bedroom was snug, 2nd bedroom would easily accomodare 3 children and bathroom was well fitted but with very temperamental shower. The whole propety was very clean and had the best towells I have ever come across in any accommodation! The Host has given a lot ofthought to guests with a great selection of videos, games and books The garden is sadly very overgrown and the site on which the chalet stands has very few...
