「The property is really big, we drove there with a rented car from Lisbon. When you first get in, it feels intimidating, but once you find the main check-in counter, it is smooth sailing from there. We met someone by the name of Marvin, who was our trip angel. He was so kind, and helpful and expecting nothing in return. The property is incredibly beautiful to the point of speechlessness. 「We were given the wrong room (we booked a 2 bedroom and they gave us a 1 bedroom) initially! They didn't seem very apologetic about it. The room we were given had a VERY dated kitchen - yellow laminate cabinets that were chipped. This did NOT match the pictures on Expedia or the resort website. Also the couch was very sad and worn out (unlike the cute couch in the pictures). On a positive note, the grounds were beautiful and nicely maintained. And the food at the restaurants was delicious!」
