"A Stylish and Memorable Boutique Hotel Experience in LA My stay at The Line Hotel in Koreatown was such a memorable experience. While it was my guest’s first visit to Los Angeles, this was my third trip—but it had been quite a while, so it felt really good to reconnect with the city. There was definitely a learning curve when booking through a third party, but as they say, you learn something new every day! What immediately stood out to me was the hotel’s architecture and design. I truly appreciated how the original mid-century structure was preserved while blending in a modern, creative style. The exposed concrete, open lobby, and energetic atmosphere gave the hotel a unique personality that felt both artistic and welcoming. The lobby was one of my favorite spaces—vibrant, open, and full of character. I also really enjoyed stopping by Alfred Coffee and had an amazing dinner and breakfast at Openaire Restaurant, which felt like a special treat during my stay. My room was comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the view of the Hollywood Hills was beautiful. The natural light pouring into the room made the space feel warm and inviting. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Line Hotel offers more than just a place to sleep—it delivers style, atmosphere, and a true LA experience. I’d gladly stay again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ---"

"The lobby is beautiful, and the room was tastefully updated. Unfortunately, our room was on the fourth floor right next to noisy air conditioning exhausts, and I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. Some front desk people were really nice while others were not so welcoming. We didn’t get any explanation about WiFi, checkout time, etc. during the check-in. In the room, there are so much things for purchase - a fridge full of alcohols, 6 water bottles on tables, and hotel merchandise in and on the cabinet. We didn’t love that these things took lots of space in the room. When we were having drinks in the lobby, a suspicious person started talking to us. She was soon removed by the security, and the hotel staff explained that she stole a hotel key card to drink for free. The staff apologize for that and was very kind. But if you are staying in this area, know that the Hollywood Blvd is really sketchy. We were glad to have stayed in this iconic hotel, but we would probably stay outside of this area and take a ride to this area to enjoy theaters and stores on our next trip to Hollywood."

"The property is well located and of high quality. But the rooms get a lot of use and abuse so the condition of the furniture shows a lot of wear and tear. Some of the chairs, for example, needs to be replaced. Staff was very helpful and courteous "

"Valet guys were very nice, so was the woman who I checked out with. The room had a funny smell and everything in the hotel seemed pretty basic and nothing special. Surprisingly wasn’t too noisy for being in DTLA but there were a few homeless outside and rummaging through the garbage. Just a step up from a Motel 6 with a better location. Breakfast sucked and portions were small, wasn’t worth the money even with my 20% off discount. Probably wouldn’t go back."
